If you have a parrot and you don’t teach it to say, “Help, they’ve turned me into a parrot”, your wasting everybody’s time

If you wanted a creature that’ll lean over ur shoulder and repeat itself over and over again with the same old words not to mention C**P on you, you only had to ask I would have sent the missus around..

Awww! Cuuuute! We used to have a parakeet called Nero, lol. Was always quite grumpy and used to peck everyone’s fingers, haha!. We taught it a little tune. Could never figure out if it was a boy or a girl, lol! I think we finally found out it was a girl, haha! We’d had it since before I was born and it died when I was about 14. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

‘Rasputin’ is a good name- alternatively, ‘Milton’ would be a great name for an animal that can master speech. You know it would suit him, do you not?

Hi Derren,

You’ve already been given a fair few suggested names but thought I’d throw Henry onto the table. Also, any plans to come back to Nottingham as it would be fantastic to see another live show up here!

Very beautiful bird! I hope you get as much joy from him as we do our two rainbow lorikeets – Sir Spectrum Sparks and Jackie the Bandit.

They do need as much, if not more, attention than children… though you do have the advantage of being able to put them in a cage at night…

Oh he’s just adorable, so handsome.
My little monster (Gagacrackers – green cheeked conure) is busy destroying my bookcase at the moment. They really do make such excellent companions though, so I’m quite happy to forgive his mess and mischief.

I was so sorry when I read that you had had to give your previous bird up. It must have been very hard. I’m really pleased with the contributions you’ve made to the NPS also, they’ve really turned that place around of late. Fantastic news.

Enjoy the time with your new friend
