A group linked to the Church of Scientology is mounting an emergency campaign to “flood Mumbai” with hundreds of thousands of booklets by L Ron Hubbard in order to spread its message to residents traumatised by the terror attacks.
As Counterknowledge.com reports, Scientologists have sent out an email which says: “Flood Mumbai with TWTH [Hubbard's The Way to Happiness] booklets! This will help calm down the area! … 100,000 booklets can be printed in India. We need to raise £21,000 on an immediate basis to make up the full amount.” The operation is being mounted by ABLE, the Association for Better Living and Education, which is officially described as “Scientology-related”. Wow … aliens!
If I’d been one of those people in Mumbai I def. would not have a need for those books, although they might be worth a laugh. They probably need a lot of stuff but not those books (most books are not first thing you would want to give them although I’m not really well informed about the Mumbai issues/situation.
How is this different from unsolicited email spam ? except of course they save the networks by using paper.
Trying to push you phoney beleif system on a population that is vunerable due to a horrific act like that is unspeakably viscious. Shame on them.
Actually I can see how those books could be very practical after a terrorist attack in a hotel. For one thing you can use them as toilet paper, if the supply of that has been cut.
You could pulp them into paper Mache for emergency structural repair.
If you have to jump from a high window, they may cushion the fall. Just don’t bother to read them, because that’s 8 hours of your life you’ll never get back.
What a load of douche bags.
Christ!!

Thats prob Tom Cruise in the cozzy!
What makes me sick is that whenever Co$ decide to have fundraisers to send books here, there and everywhere, they still have to pay the licensing fees for using Hubbard’s texts. They’re trying to get Scientologists to donate money, a percentage of which goes straight into the financial labyrinth. That would be like Children in Need raising money to buy poor kids in hot countries copies of The Floral Dance.
“The Way To Happiness”?
Are the Scientologists behind all those ads on TV at the moment, then?
(Sorry if I seem to be asking the obvious – those ads have been everywhere lately. I wondered what was going on).
They have ads on TV? in THIS country. Please tell me this isn’t true… PLEASE!!!!!!!!!
The $cientology organization will use any disaster to fill its pockets, but then thats no real different than some governments or large multinational companies at times. And they will make up some claim later in the year, that because of their dropping of 100,000 ‘books’ the local tone level was raised a small percentage point, which they will hold a large ceremony for which will cost each person attending huge amounts of money. But its all for the organization that does such wonderful things like sue the pants off anyone who disagrees with them.
I don’t like that
just saying anything goes then you get a bunch of bum holes moaning about it!
xXxPEACExXx Hippy at heart lol
I am totally open to alien life forms but ramming a bunch of text book ideals on people is not good.
Though if you think about it in the terms of a board game the Scientologists are just clocking up more points for their cause.
I don’t know, are they right or wrong, i guess every things open to try to get heard even if its crap! Not saying Scientology is
