I don\'t really watch the X-Factor, not that I have anything against it but it rarely occurs to me to switch the telly on (except for anything to do with Derren or Dawkins, for which I have a phone alarm to remind me!)
However... it annoys me no end that they assume they have the xmas number one sewn up.

SO... why don\'t we Rickroll Xmas???
http://www.ultimaterickroll.com (<- I swear on... um.. \"The God Delusion\" that this isn\'t a Rickroll)

We did the MTV Awards and got Best Act Ever (http://ema.mtv.co.uk/winners/)

This has to be worth 79p per person, just to show Cowell et al that the xmas no. 1 isn\'t exclusively theirs!

Whats with the " keep the vote English thing". very disappointed he said that, not everybody from Northern Ireland would automatically vote for Eoghan because he's from here.

What? People die at their 50's already there in the UK?! Good that I'm not living there .. it's probably due to more primal genes or such (people used to die way earlier in the past .. well, you added at least 10 years to the age of 40 already .. it's coming .. ).

No, at least 80 that must be ... (didn't you notice that walking cane aside of the stage?), it's just because he is a mentalist that he did not fall down yet .. Elderly people are not so out of the X factor among eachother as you may think ... (keep a close eye on them ... little devils they are ..).

I watched TXF for the first time, since you confessed your love for it last week. I had to see what fuss about. My daughter and I sat on the sofa with our jumper sleeves pulled over our hands and muffling our ears for most of the show. "That was awful!" followed by "Clang!" everytime someone hit a wrong note. In our opinion the only one worthy of winning this competition is Alexandra. Although I think Ruth should've had another day and the wee spikey headed fellow or the goose-voiced girl should've gone instead.

And someone should get that wee blonde some shoes, it's cold for goodness sake! There's quirky and then there's dumb.

I'm sure my daughter will want to watch it all over again this week. I'll be sure to wear the extra thick jumper this time.

What I thought was funny as well was that on Eoghan's first song one of the judges commented that it was a bit too much 'High School Musically' and that he shouldn't keep doing songs and dance routines that focused around that... and then his next song was High School Music! (classic)

I think the novelty of Diana has worn off for me, I didn't enjoy either song this week. Every week I think the song choice won't work and every week I love being wrong (her version of With Or Without You was fabulous) - not this time though. Shame.

Ruth has always been too shouty for me, JLS were deathly dull (I thought they might do Baby One More Time but was hoping they would do it acapella to make it interesting - or like Travis did on Radio 1). Eoghan... ugh. I think it's more the High School Musical vote that kept him in than just regional voting. Alexandra is far and away the best in every possible way and she deserves to win. More than that, she deserves success beyond X-Factor, very few ever get that though.

I would debate that Johnny Rotten launched the punk movement. Anyway, I enjoy the X Factor. However, I will not be spending £200 on it this year.
