The time .. the time .. you need to buy time from someone to read all those 6/7 books a week ..... or do you save them for rainy days in life later on, just grabbing one now and then, reading some pieces here and there, scanning through them.

Or are you just the collector who wants to have them, no matter whether there's time for reading.

Or is the emerging panic (oh my, what if it is gone, not for sale anymore, in time??? I have to buy it NOW!) ?

How long did you keep that up .. 6/7 a week .. you must have an enormous house ... it's probably not that long yet huh ? It's building probably .. you will have to keep track of that, so that you will look around for another house by the time they need more space. Just as it is with kids ... the more kids .. the more rooms needed .. in your case books apparently. Wise kids that is. Kids which wil never exist .. the oracles .. Yes, I know, you actually have some kids of your own in this section .. b-kids, dvd-kids .. not the fruit of your loins (well, hers, if you'd had a partner) ... but the fruit of your mind, and others' minds ..

I'm Conny, yes.

SSJ: Very good. I hadn't heard of Jota Leal! But I starting to get flashbacks of Fluck and Law, aka "Spitting Image". As if you didn't know, my brainy sparked friend!

Hid work is a lot like Kruger's, but it's moving away from that. Mind you, Kruger's work has changed a lot too. Another artist who blows my mind and is also quite similar to Kruger is Jota Leal:

If I could get that good I would die a happy man.

This is old! - But a nice mention of Sebastian Krüger! I always thought of Derren's portraits as across between Ralph Stedman and Sebastian Krüger, but not as malicious as Gerald Scarfe....What do you think? Anyone?

Geeez .. the Krueger stuff ... looking at a few of them I thought it were photographs ... but it really says paintings .... amazing ...

Amazon .. oh yeah ... I'd be their best customer but my bank account wont allow me ....

Parrot zoo ... I'll visit it for sure when I'm in the UK .. (weird ... I'm living in animal/bird zoo at home but can't stop seeing to them when I'm somewhere else ... ). We've got a few of those 'shelters' here as well .. good that they are there .. although it is sad that they need to be there .. I know of a few shelters where the birds dont have much space (nor attention). It's probably not always easy for the birds to redirect .. and focus on their own kind again, although most will do quite soon without any problems. I already know what the relation between me and parrots will be like ... I'm the one who would get emotionally attached to them and feeling guilty all the time .. they'd become completely non submissive to anyone but theirselves ... The way they hang in my neck underneath my hair ... nibbling on things .. doing my eye brows and lashes .... I'm down under way too soon with those .... not being able to keep my mind on top at all any more ... the way some of them work me .. better than a man ever could ..... I'm taking neither of them in the house ... such a threat ... .

I thought Derren would have some kind of cool mental way of methodically thinking about a purchase or something,

I bought my tour tickets yesterday (Newcastle Wed 3rd June)! can't wait!
