That implies that the church guys actually mean the potential converts some harm, and I don't think there's anything in that article to suggest that's the case. It makes perfect sense to try to convert the alternative religion/spiritual crowd. They tend to wander from one thing to the other, so if you can make your option look more attractive to them than reiki or Eastern gurus, they're going to drift over to you, right? I think they should reconsider theirselves.. why don't they join the spiritual world where all those potential new members/believers run around instead of vice versa ... seems more normal.
