For those of you who spend way too much time at your computer, can’t stop spending on ebay or have the bizzare requirement to email us up to 75 times a day with your personal problems we would like to point you to THIS site. P.S. Derren is not available to cure any addictions at any price.

Are there really people who e-mail you about their personal prolems? Kinda strange.
Oh come on, [i]everyone[i] has their price. What if they were addicted to parrots… or sex? ; )
He may have wished he could have cured mine … .. hahaha .. I prefer to take care of business myself if possible.
It really does not matter what people send Derren I think .. public figures will get that stuff but they def. do not read it all .. (and can’t or should not (not always healthy). I myself would love to read all that stuff from time to time, but I’m aware that that is because I’m not the person they are writing to, makes things different sometimes. Backdraft is that I’d not be able to respond the way I sometimes would have preferred to respond, so .. erm .. yes, weirdish .. BUT I don’t have to bother about that. I write because of the writing mainly .. and like to have my muzes here and there .. boosts a little more. And to give people around me some slack …
Why are books, people, bars, dancing and whatever hobbies never seen upon as addictive .. I consider the internet as pretty healthy … people don’t get less social due to it …. lots get even more social .. in between the stuff you were doing anyway at home.
I’m def. not addicted to painting my house … but I did it again today …
Hey, if we are addicted to Derren .. does that make Phillis and Coops sort of methadon (addicts here in Holland get that .. ) .. ????
Can’t say I’m getting much of a rush/high here .. so what is it then that makes us addicted? Maybe addicted to ourselves? He’s not enough here to get truely addicted to .. wise man he is .. *grinning* .. or not so wise …
I’m only addicted to the internet when I’m supposed to be doing productive things (like working on my thesis)…
Ebay isn’t my problem, but googling is!
I have to trawl anyhow for work purposes, and an unhealthy bi product is my discovering all manner of ailments, scary individuals and alarming facts which fuel my already natural tendency to worry. Sometimes too much knowledge is a bad thing…………..trouble is, I have an overwhelming curiosity for all things!!!
Liz: Ahh, bad case of trainwreck syndrome?
I used to do that, too, but I’ve forced myself to stop clicking links like that. It only makes you feel worse, so there’s no sense in satisfying that sort of curiosity. Best to just go do something entirely different (read a webcomic, or some blogs, or look for info on less scary matters)!
i’m addicted to this website…
haha
i´m not addicted either lol..
btw @BerberAnna…did you manage to tape the christmas derren part with that serie for me?….
RM: Yes, I did — been a bit busy this week, but I’ll send it to you tomorrow!
bless you anna – it’s not so much the gruesome stuff I go for, tho have seen my fair share, and it’s vile. I tend to look up medical stats, latest breakthrus, health scares, stuff of that kind. I think essentially the internet is a fantastic resource, but I unfortunately have a relatively idle brain at the mo, and it is getting into mischief. Husband has threatened to disconnect us – prob something to do with me recommending he get checked for gastric cancer t’other day when he complained of nausea………………..I know, I know, I’m a freak!!!
Need to increase workload me thinks…………or have another baby!! Same thing really x
@BA: Taaa…jumps for joy
Bwahahahaha!
A online site to cure internet addicitons?
That’s like AA meetings being held in a bar.
I’d say it’s quite counter productive.
I’m addicted to the DBFF *LOL* ….
