If there is a God then he’s Charlie Brooker. Every word that spills from this mans mouth is sheer genius and utterly hilarious. To disagree with him is futile and for doing so you should be shot – several times.
His latest series from the BBC is now available from the iPlayer here and a multitude of other places. Go watch it now and then come back and tell me just how brilliant he is and that you love him and also want to have his babies – now!

lol he is very good!….but phillis….this just makes me wonder if youre saying this… ´´you love him and also want to have his babies – now!´´ cause maybe your ovaries are rattled, or? I mean who doesnt know yet that he is genius?…. hehe….
Perfect, just wonderful!
Well I mean Charlie Brooker
Why don’t the media believe such psychiatrists?
Haha! Finally!
This also goes for… oh yeah! ANYTHING that makes the public feel like shit just by watching it!
For goodness sake… it’s not even real news anymore nowadays… is it?
He is brilliant at what he does. His book was the first to ever make me laugh out loud in a public place, even the index of DotD is hilarious. The man has a lot to answer for.
Not sure how or why he is so angry, but all we can do is savour his suffering.
Glad to have him back on the box.
Great! Can’t wait to see this. One of my favourites from his previous Screenwipe series was the episode which focused on TV news where he spent 24 hours watching the news about the Madeline McCain story and discovered that mostly he was watching a closed door with a rabble of news crews outside it waiting for some news to come through it, which it didn’t.

You used my upload, I am so proud x
Newswipe is great, give it a try!
Charlie Brooker is God.
Nathan Barley was only quite good. But I spose all deities have their creative blind spots.
But his stuff on BBC4 and his Guardian column is exceptional, and worthy of many sacrificed animals to appease him.
TV Go Home was great, and Showed the Nathan Barley character the way he should have been written.
I Love Charlie too. : )
I was having a rather bad day once and the delightful Mr Brooker cheered me right up by saying that TV got interactive and throwing his shoe at his TV, cutting to the clip of George Bush being narrowly missed by a rouge brouge. It cut back to Mr Brooker saying something along the lines of “let’s see you dodge this one then!” brandishing a hammer.
Oh how I laughed, adn for that reason alone, yes Phillis, I will have all the babies he would like me to. Lovely, clever ,funny, little babies.
Charlie Brooker is my other god, when I’m not worshipping at the disturbing Derren Brown shrine I’ve created in the wardrobe in the spare room!
I have both “Screenburn” and “dawn of the Dumb” in my bookshelves which will both have anyone with a funnybone laughing hysterically, and although I was late to jump on the screenwipe bandwagon, I’ve since caught up on all the back episodes on youtube.
For anyone who didn’t catch it the first time… here he is commenting on “My Super Sweet 16″… his commentary is the only thing which makes that show bearable!

Of course he’s brilliant, but he shouldn’t have any babies.
