They see all those glamourous cats moddeling in petfood commercials and they know they can't compete, so they resort to putting paper bags on their heads. I read in Chuck Jones (famous looneytunes Animation Director) autobiography "Chuck Amuck" that when he was growing up, his family cat Johnson had several bizzarre habits. He used to beg for grapefruit at the breakfast table, eat his way through it and wear the half-rind as a spacehelmet. Johnson's other habit was to surprise swimmers on the neighbouring beach by swimming up behind them by stealth and sinking his claws into their unprotected shoulders! I think it’s a sad enditement of the pressure today’s cats are under. It seems to like it ... as if it has been doing this many, many times before. It almost looks as if it can see, that is .. and so at peace. It actually seems to get annoyed when it finally takes of the bag ... tail starts to move around afterwards. Bored stiff probably? Likes the little lack of air/sight ... a new challenge .. let me see if I can walk around in the house like this .. I would not have letten it so long on his head though ... afraid it might get a lack of air .. but maybe the owner the checked .. if its mouth was free .. and air came in from below .. My birds stick their head inside of anything as well .. mainly bags, little pockets etc .. but never fly/walk around like this cat .. ehehe .. Surreal!
