I only listened to half of that video because I was distracted by his many movements, but i think thats kind of funny that thousands of people would actually pray for one guy that really has no hope in converting to christianity. I want a shirt like that i wonder how many stares i would get.
I totally agree with Penn, uit’s good to talk about our disbeilief/beliefs, if we didn’t we’d never get anywhere near finding any true answers or theories. Good for Penn.
Yeah and i hate it when people ‘pray for me’ it’s really embarassing, urgh, i would hate to be converted, cringe! YEah nice end too Penn, “don’t hold you breath, there’s probably no god!”
Come on phillis, it’s by no means “Derren’s atheist bandwagon” – Penn and Teller have been doing this stuff for ages – and then of course there’s James Randi.
If there is an atheist bandwagon (which is a bit of a cynical way of putting it, I’d like to think of it as a movement. Or maybe a sway
), it’s been rolling along for quite a while now. I’m very pleased to see Derren being a more vocal part of that these days, I was hoping he would do so years ago.
To aid further confusion I think the image of the sarcasm smiley needs to be emphasised a little more so … perhaps bigger … and with greater gurning … and looking like popeye chewing a toffee …..
Or maybe an image of a giant tongue forcing it’s way into someones cheek.

Penn was probably doing this atheist stuff when Derren was still a christen !! And others such as Randi have been doing it for a long time before that But a great Penn says video as always.

No doubt the sarcasm was obvious to those who are aware of such things, whether or not the rest of the dribbling hordes would be is another matter (those who already view DB as some kind of minor deity worthy of having his very own bandwagon).

I heard Penn Gilette can juggle broken bottles and eat fire. He also shouts a lot, which almsot cancels that out. I like the little one, he is not intimidating.

My boyfriend put the God channel on the other night, scary stuff! They were practicly brain washing the people there and spreading hate about homosexuals, I hate knowing things like that are really going on around the world, its evil! Not only that but it’s broadcasted on TV!
