Vlad Grigorescu emailed me yesterday (Hi Vlad) and I saw over at his blog (in Romanian) he has set up a great set of vintage magic posters. There are some real classics from the likes of Houdini, Blackstone and Thurston – my favourite is this one (if I can get Coops drunk enough we re-enact it of a Sunday evening.)

So Phillis, re. your re-enactment – Who gets to play Princess Iris, and is there a legal limit to the number of units of alcohol for safe levitation in a petticoat? I only ask because the policeman in the picture seems to want answers.
[and for the sake of curiosity, what usually gets Princess Iris inebriated enough to agree to it?]

Derren Brown looks scary on the picture at the top the one on the right hand side.
Carter the great magic poster looks cool, who ever designed it did a good job.
