Apologies for the delay. A toss of a 20p found in the cab in which I’m currently riding has found the ‘cake’ entry to the kindness competition to be our lucky winner. The ‘race’ lady, though, gets very special mention for such a worthy and impressive entry. If it were possible to think of a ‘second’ prize for her, slightly less impressive than those we’re sending to the winner, we would do so.
Next project is to find where I put the prizes. I know I had them in Newcastle. Bear with me.

See if the race is still to be run and if the lady has something like a page set up at justgiving.com (a lot of fundraisers do) then give her some sponsorship. I’m sure knowing she had some backing from Derren would help keep the motivation afloat. Also, fellow blog responders here might like to donate a little money if they can and help the total grow.

I’m with Ian, if race lady sets up a site for donations I’ll sponsor her, (but it has to be a site that accepts the Irish laser cards as I’m not allowed a credit card anymore!!)
