Moonwalk, breakdance .. fascinating to watch indeed.
What the heck is body popping? Can’t see vid yet.
I know what bubbling is (never did it but saw it, probably will need some exercise in that area … but hey ..single .. not really horny or such .. where do you get the exercise huh? I’m diagnosed with an SI block in my lower back so I have an excuse (years ago, but hey … ). I can sit in lotus and then place both foot on top of the legs and then lean forward and walk on my knees like that. *walking away with nose in the air* …
Oh, and I can move my head on my neck to the left and to the right … like the oriental do in their dances … way better ofcourse ..
I dance like a cat according to some (might be the claws ofcourse … ), but they let theirself be fooled by the magical moves of my hands … combined with keeping them close up via staring eyes …. sucking them in .. (oh well .. get carried away ..)
I prefer rock .. so nothing fancy there, no great moves or such .. from the lower abdomen .. nope, not sex .. it’s the other base line down there.
They are amazing dancers. Did you know that Bert Jansch had his riffs borrowed by Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin if you didn\’t know – he who knows everything, even our darkest thoughts! Boo)
About seven months before Michael Jackson performed his moonwalk, Jeffrey Daniel of Shalamar performed it on Top of the Pops (June ’82), the UK television chart show. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ImkBve8OW8
The following day (a Friday in those days), everybody at school was working on that move, so that be the time Billie Jean came out, many good do passable versions.
I woulod see Jeffrey on the dancefloor at the Embassy in those days and we were always trying to keep up with his robotocs and moonwalking (the latter of which I still can’t do at all well)
Actually it was on Soul Train whilst doing a routine dressed in black that Daniel and Geron ‘Casper’ Candidate and Derek ‘Cooley’ Jackson first performed the moonwalk on U.S. television, dancing to Michael Jackson’s Working Day and Night.
Michael Jackson saw it and had Cooley and the others teach it to him for $1000 apiece. The dancers later featured in other MJ videos like Smooth Criminal.
To his credit, I don’t think I’ve ever seen anybody do it as well as Jacko did, even if he was a bit fruit and nut.

I have read his autobiography and he has never once stated that he made it up. He said that some children on the streets taught it to him.
xx
“hey, it’s like my momma said: aint nobody invent nuttin, people just take a little bit of what other people did and add to it”
~ Jeffry A. Townes a.k.a DJ Jazzy Jeff (paraphrased)
And, have you seen the bird that moonwalks? Check youtube.
He’s never said he invented it. He also is not the self proclaimed King of Pop – this was a name given to him by Diana Ross!
i agree with john. Even if jacko is wierd he does do the moonwalk really well.
Love it especially 2:46 and up part…Ofcourse, nothing is new in Life ultimately…
I never believed he was actually in zero gravity walking on the moon… it was all just a Hollywood stageset I tells ya
What about Jeffrey daniels from Shalamar? 1982,this is where jacko stole it, and never got as good – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ImkBve8OW8

I will surely miss Michael Jackson, he is really worthy of the name King of Pop and he is certainly one of the greatest musicians of all time,
there would be no other King of Pop like Michael Jackson. he would always be the King.
