Someone got me a pair of these as a present. They are hilarious and the cause of much silliness and laughter at BT, but at the same time they’re pretty comfy.
I’m told that they are common amongst surfers – you lot seem like a clever lot so maybe you can help confirm this. I just like standing in the shower in them and running down the corridors – it looks like a yeti escaped.

ha ha my friend has a pair, he’s started running in them, says they’re uncomfy for running in, which isn’t surprising really

Out of curiosity, don’t they make your toes sweaty? I don’t want athlete’s foot
They’re awesome! I spend far too much time wandering around barefoot. If i had some of those it could be like i was barefoot all the time

I dunno, isn’t it uncomfortable having stuff between your toes? On the other hand, they would make you look like a monkey so climbing the furniture would be EVEN BETTER. I wonder what they would do for parkour. Huh.

I got some of these myself earlier this year – so many people comeent on them and say they “look weird but cool” but they are SO comfortable!
Certainly proved their worth at the beach the other day – I was running over the stones without a problem where all my friends were awkwardly making their way across them!
And to the other commenters – very comfortable, feel a bit odd to begin with but they don’t rub and they’re not too sweaty either (and if your feet get hot, just walk through some cool water in them!).
My wife wants to know if they make them with webbed toes for her? Surely that would make them just like normal shoes?
I have just spent the last few minutes wiggling my toes at the thought of having this freaky footwear…… nope not for me.
Only one pair left in stock and they are my size. That never happens, it must be on omen, perhaps I am destined to own them.

They are very funny and they are not meant to be just shoes they are actually rock climbing shoes. Just fyi. Very fun for all occasions though. Hope this helps anyone who wants a pair.
I think when you start surfing with those it might be great … a far better sense of the board .. but if you’re used to the other shoes … not sure. Partially a personal choice, and partially depending on other stuff I guess. That’s at least what I get from their look, dont know what they feel like ofcourse.

My only concern is that I have Hobbit feet (if Sam and Frodo could have a love child, it would be me) and I suspect I would end up looking like some yeti/ hobbit hybrid. Although that may actually be an improvement.

These look great but they make big assumptions about your feet and toe size. Or does everyone have standard feet and it’s just me with the freaky wide flippers and strange shaped toes. I’ve always suspected so anyway, I have so much trouble getting shoes that fit. Meh.
