An old woman from the Polish village Jablonowa was declared dead, however, she awoke a few hours later in a coroner’s bag. An 84 year old Polish woman from the village of Jablonow near Zwolen, which the doctor from the emergency services declared dead, woke up a few hours later at the morgue, reports the police spokesperson Radomu January Majewski, reports PAP.
The unnamed woman lost consciousness, because of which her husband called an ambulance.
“The doctor confirmed her death, so the family started preparing for her funeral, whilst the funeral company took the body to the morgue. However, a few hours later a morgue worker noticed that the bag was moving and he called a doctor who determined the return of life functions” added Majewski.
This is beyond scary!
When I was a kid I used to go to the Wax Museum in Dublin and in the Chamber of Horrors there was a waxwork of a man who had been buried alive, scared the be-jesus out of me.

Weird idea, that they take someone immediately with them to the morgue as soon as he/she has been declared dead.
Anyway, better waking up in the morgue then in the closed coffin, down under.

I have a freaky fear of being eaten when I’m dead so I’ve always wanted to be buried in a stone coffin so the worms dont get me! But recently heard maggots grown inside you and eat you so now I don’t know what to do!
Imagine the poor guy in the crematorium as the body bag was moving, scary!! I bet her husband was beyond relieved though.

My gran has a deeply creepy story about the graveyard in her village.
A couple of generations ago, apparently, there were such severe flood that the coffins floated up through the earth. They were tilted all over the place, and the lids had fallen off some of them.
A fair few of the lids had been clawed at, from the inside.
This does happen quite often. Many people, excluding doctors, don’t realise that people don’t just die instantaneously and as such it’s very difficult to decide when someone is ‘dead’.
This story is amazing! I just hope it doesn’t happen to me or anyone I know………

On a side note I actually have the coffin that’s in the picture (well not that actual one but I do have one), they should have taken the black foam out of the inside as it comes with an amazing Dracula figurine. It also has some beautiful carving on the under side of the lid.
