Blackadder – remastered
If you’re over the age of 25 then like all at BT you’ll be a massive Blackadder fan. Well they just went and re-mastered it and stuck a ton of extras on there – which is highly annoying because I already own a set. However I will be getting the new box set and giving my old one away – Hoorah.
There’s also a lovely video of the wonderful Stephen Fry selling it to us in his gentle but slightly blocked nosed voice and as funny as a vegetable that’s grown in to a rude and amusing shape.

The answer is that it’s in colour. Why? I hear you ask. Because it’s 100 years old and it’s Russian. In 1909 a remarkable project was initiated by Russian photographer Sergey Mikhaylovich Prokudin-Gorsky. His mission was to record – in full and vibrant color – the vast and diverse Russian Empire. Here, with his story, is a selection of his amazing century old full color pictures. Many of the pictures look as if they could have been taken yesterday, with only the costumes worn by the people captured in their moment of time betraying the age of the work.

Witches claim religious discrimination after church ban
Sandra Davis – High Priestess at the Crystal Cauldron – had reserved Our Lady’s Social Club in Shaw Heath, Stockport for her Pagan group’s Annual Witches’ Ball. But when she rang to make payment arrangements she was told the event could not be held there and – despite already having printed tickets – another venue must be found. The Diocese of Shrewsbury have since confirmed witches are not ‘compatible with the Catholic ethos’.
Sandra, 61, said: “I’m appalled. ”My congregation is shocked that in this day and age there can be such religious discrimination. ”We’re normal people who follow an earth-based religion and want to enjoy ourselves. ”We thought we were bridging the gap with other religions but misconceptions still exist, like we sacrifice animals. ”Does the church check everyone’s beliefs before allowing them in the club? ”Now we need another venue for at least 100 people with a stage for entertainment.

Old Woman Dies, Then Mysteriously Awakes
An old woman from the Polish village Jablonowa was declared dead, however, she awoke a few hours later in a coroner’s bag. An 84 year old Polish woman from the village of Jablonow near Zwolen, which the doctor from the emergency services declared dead, woke up a few hours later at the morgue, reports the police spokesperson Radomu January Majewski, reports PAP.
The unnamed woman lost consciousness, because of which her husband called an ambulance.
“The doctor confirmed her death, so the family started preparing for her funeral, whilst the funeral company took the body to the morgue. However, a few hours later a morgue worker noticed that the bag was moving and he called a doctor who determined the return of life functions” added Majewski.
