'Don't get mad at me get mad at God...'

I'm pretty sure that if there was a god he could kill someone regardless of pray... This just shows how detached from any form of logic and reason these people can be. The interviewer made the best point 'You do not know.'

I would like to know why this guy thinks Obama needs to die...

@phillis - i think laughter is the only real way to deal with this particular type of whacko.

imo, he's actually coming really close to breaking the law here. he's not precisely doing so, but definitely skirting it. calling for someone's death or trying to incite another to commit a murder is certainly a crime - most esp. when the person in question is the POTUS. by making his exhortations specifically to god, who can't really be brought to court*, instead of the general public, he's narrowly avoiding that definition.

at the same time, by declaring it over the radio, he's making his intent and wishes publically known, and implicitly if not explitcitly accomplishing the same end. since he is a pastor and, i assume, a leader of a congregation, i find the act particularly irresponsible and reprehensible. what's to stop one of his flock from thinking that he or she has become the instrument of god's vengeance, and the answer to the pastor's prayers?

anyway, if i prayed, i'd pray that he got piles.

*although an argument could be made that god is already in our courts, since we must swear on a bible to him that we'll tell the truth when we testify. don't you like comments with footnotes?

“I’m not a terrorism supporter, I’m a vengeance of God supporter”

pretty much all terrorists think that, don't they?

I thought I'd tuned in to a radio spot for that new horror movie "Drag me to Hell".
You know - that new Sam Raimi flick where a demented gypsy puts a curse on a bank clerk for not granting a third extention to her mortgage arrears, and implores a supernatural agent to intervene in the matter by first killing said bank clerk and then dragging her to hell.
Except this is a pastor doing it. Vindictive gypsy curses in cheesy tongue-in-cheek horror movies/ evangelical wingnuts and their belief systems - apparently there's not a world of difference there. Well at least now Sam Raimi knows who to cast for the sequel!

@ Chris... Don't think that the blog is advocating anything, just passing on info??
I, however, will be happy to advocate judging people for vocalising their fanaticism, stupidity and lunacy.

Not sure I'm clear what the issue is. Are you advocating judging people for their thoughts?
