I’m sure Derren wouldn’t mind being parodied if it was genuinely witty and amusing, but Kevin Bishop sketches are so crass and unfunny it’s almost too embarassing to watch

And Derren may not complain ofcourse .. he paints people the way this guy appaerntly does it (sort of ..). Derren probably now will have to make one from this guy .. a portrait … a very evil one ..

Does anyone think this will be the final straw? The last gentle breeze of parody that pushes him over the edge and finally galvanizes him to take that step – all those years of harmless animal taxidermy, all in preperation for the most dangerous sawdust-stuffing subject of all.
He seemed like such a polite, quiet man.

I agree with Gaz. The Star Stories show Bishop did was hillarious….but his own show was a bit rubbish. I’m not very impressed with him mocking our Derren.

Hannah: don’t worry about it. If it’s deemed too insulting, the Magic Circle will send a team of assassins to destroy them all. You ought to have seen what happened when American Dad parodied Blaine and Criss Angel, I heard they’re still cleaning up the mess. Or maybe you shouldn’t have seen it. I hear they don’t like leaving witnesses, you know?

Yeah i saw the add on TV and there was a clip of him impersonating Derren Brown…..i got rather annoyed…..i was like noooo you cannot do that…i think he’s usually funny but that isn’t at all…i wud get it if it was meant to be like a jealous brother or something that sucked like it says it’s meant to be ‘Darren Brown’. But if he’s challenging Derren Brown’s talents then its just distasteful in my opinion…
