There are many rare mental disorders in the world. Cotard’s Syndrome or Walking Corpse syndrome is one of them. Cotord’s Syndrome is when a person thinks that they have died, lost their soul, or lost a vital organ, when in fact they have lost nothing. They may even think they do not have blood.
This disorder has been linked to many other disorders including Schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Other than mental illness this disorder can come about when there is a problem with the persons brain, such as an injury. Some people with this disorder may feel immortal.
Although this feeling is very rare among those that have Cotord’s Syndrome. They may test their own mortality by attempting suicide. So you can see that this disorder is very dangerous to the person who has it.

Has anyone established a connection between this and voodoo zombies?
one of my mates had a spell of bi-polar disorder not long ago… he was convinced he was god every second day. The amusing part was that in the ward he was put on during his recovery he encountered a Jehova’s witness who told him he was being blasphemous and would burn in eternal torment… he told her he should know what’s blasphemous and what’s not, he invented the bloody rules!
I wish I could muster comebacks like that with a straight face!
Is there a connection between this and Gordon Brown “leading” a government of the walking dead?
wow, that’s really interesting, although it would be really challenging for the family, wouldn.t it be quite an amazing feeling thinkin ur a spirit.

Sounds similar to psychosis (some can have thoughts and such like that and lots of things around them seem to confirm their thoughts and ideas).
I heard about those who are 100% sure that a limb is not theirs and want to have it amputated.
Now, I’m sure this body is not mine eiether (it so does not match my perfect self …) but hey … I’ll get through life in it quite okay. In fact, it does have other advantages which came in handy. Would not have thought of it myself but hey .. now that those skills are here .. let’s use them.
Who knows .. maybe we are all in a coma .. we ‘don’t know that we dream when we dream either most of the time so maybe we are not really alive. Who knows. I wonder whether those people, if you check their ideas/thoughts wont come up with very logic ideas at times. If you see through certain structures there’s a lot that is almost beyond belief.
Religiousmarie – That’s not Mr. Hitchens… where’s the whisky? Or is that why he’s wearing the shades?
@flap…well, he does look a bit like him innit??
