US President Barack Obama is the target of more than 30 potential death threats a day and is being protected by an increasingly over-stretched and under-resourced Secret Service, according to a new book.
Since Mr Obama took office, the rate of threats against the president has increased 400 per cent from the 3,000 a year or so under President George W. Bush, according to Ronald Kessler, author of In the President’s Secret Service. Some threats to Mr Obama, whose Secret Service codename is Renegade, have been publicised, including an alleged plot by white supremacists in Tennessee late last year to rob a gun store, shoot 88 black people, decapitate another 14 and then assassinate the first black president in American history.

We actually heard one of those threats and called to alert the Secret Service.
The were in our store the next day interviewing my employee as to what was said etc.
The perp was there trying to by a hunting rifle and when the background check was called in
it was denied due to being a convicted felon.
I really do not think he was a legitimate threat, just spouting off but that is like
calling in a bomb threat as a joke.
That guy from Korea did not threaten to kill him … he just said he would toss a bomb on miami .. and oh well .. obama does not live there …
And what about those who did not inform Obama, nor intend to inform him on forehand (who ever informs someone on forehand when it comes to matters like these I wonder ….).
There would not be much people alive anymore if every thought about killing someone would have become reality ..

Is this some kind of brainwashing spin so we think that Obama is amazingly brave. He still sends out his soldiers to die in pointless wars while also killing more innocent civillians than “terrorists”. All while sat in his warm cushy bullet/bomb proof oval office.
