I love these little idents. One thing I did notice was that they popped up on Channel 4 practically every hour at around the same time (yes, I do realise how sad that sounds). But I just think they’re great to watch.
Can’t wait for the actual trailer tonight!! I shall endeavour to keep my eyes peeled and try and spot anything….

The “hidden” capital letters have been there for a few posts.
In two others, the letters say “ROTOR”: a palindrome (that you can read from the beggining or from the end – which is close to the theme of the videos…).
Or mamybe it stands for “rot or….” “…rewind” = rewinding is not rotting, so it’s living, going foreward….
Am I overthinking? lol

It clearly says rewind in the post but not many of us have the ablility to rewind videos, its not that easy to do you have to download programs and poo, could you do it for us pleeeeeeease phillis, because you’re so cool

you realise if u record it with soudn recorder in windows u can just click reverse and hear him talkign about magic being about missdirection and him telling us that u can get in on the show if u go to the webbys in the video tho it doesent say that its where they take you he talks about performing 4 huge stunts of misdirection and any system is breakable with the right tricks
The thing behind his head is a security light. Nothing more, nothing less. My guess is that it was edited out of the other videos.

i personally think that, contrairy to the first video we were shown, where they did produce the effect by rewinding, this time, no rewinding is used.

I think too many people are trying to show how smart they supposedly are by looking for a hole in a freaking Swiss cheese. Those websites were a trick, a cheap shot to make you curious which in the end results in you entering his website. Rewind was to get his message across, but once again, curiousity has it that more people are interesed in looking for the answer, again resulting in having a wider audience. If it wasn’t for tricks Derren’s name wouldn’t be so recognizable and he wouldn’t have made it to being a part of a commercial station of Channel 4.
You’re all acting like kids hyped-up on sugar about all this.

Ah MJ, its nothing to do with common sense, we are all just hyper intelligent people reading too much into things because of our overactive imaginations… but it does make everything that much more fun… go on, come up with some over-blown ideas (you know you want to really)
I watched the longer advert on tv and recorded it, then reversed the sound, the cyclist who says something incomprehensible is saying \”Oi get out the flipping way you idiot reversed.\”
Poor MJ. Seems somebody is forcing him to read and post on this blog against his will. Must be so hard to hang out at the website of somebody you don’t like, without any means of, say, navigating away from it…

I did wonder.
Most of the vimeo vids don’t play well at all on the machine I’m currently using.
My computer’s pretty old… I made it myself from an abacus, a commador vic 20 keyboard and an old acorn monitor and of course, trusty gaffer tape (God, now I do feel old).
Ok it’s not that bad really… but some vid playback is all jumpy and pants.
Also, I’ve just re-noticed my previous posting.
How mental do I look? Actually… don’t answer that please.
But yes… A.O.H. eh?… interesting.
Was this maybe one of many seeds planted?
