i really know the answer and my dad was totally ready to pay for the train to london and get me the day off school if it was a weekday ect, ect, ect. but then i read the terms and conditions. im not over 18 :’( actually really upset me!

Such an easy answer … just a pity London is so far away at short notice. I’ll just have to wait until I see it on the box sometime.
I want to enter and win the competition (easy question by the way) but I won’t be able to get to London on the 10th…..so gutted!
Everything about The Events looks intriguing and I guess all the clues are there so I’m now off to examine those videos a bit more closely…..

I only have access to an iPhone, so I can’t watch any of this, or enter.. Any chance of some YouTube upload? Probably not, but i’d really like to see this! — Also, just saw The Events ad on Channel 4; looks very well. ^^

…and the final thing I did was check the T&Cs. Alright if you like near London. Just wasted 40 minutes trying to win something I can’t afford to get to.
Grrr, darn UK residents!! But that clip did make me giggle, how on earth did he stand on his head for so long…
Now thankful I paid out for the series on itunes amonth before it went on 4OD because I can’t get the episode to play either. Done

Hiya there, have been having an argument… sorry, ‘a discussion’ in the ad did you use any digital layering or was it all performed after lots of time and practice? I’m thinking, just like any slight of hand, it was skill, as opposed to just TV effects. Please settle this so I can be a smug git for a little while

Then again the cost of security from stopping some of the “jumpers” as they are known in the trade… lol

I would love to win! Been registered for tickets on LostinTV for ages and now it says fully booked so guess I didn’t get picked this time – boo hiss! Very intrigued by ‘The Events’ and some people’s theories on here…….

Done it. The solution is not as fun as the trailer – and the two websites.
Love it though, have watched it many times allready.
Not going because I don’t live in UK, wich means I can’t watch Ch4 either. Bummer!!
Step up Mr. Brown – have the free shows on Ch4 put on your own site too!!!

lostintv confused a lot of us. The day the reserve list hit the site (first time they offered from the sept shows) myself and 6 friends all went in and added ourselfs to the list, from the extended group another 8 added to list. Not one of us heard a thing back.
I emailed twice and this week they confirmed the tickets had all gone and then the site changed to show that.
On the positive side it shows just how many people want to attend the event’s live and why not! In a way it could be another stepping stone in magic history. Houdini vanished an elephant, Selbit created a women divided, Copperfield made the statue of liberty vanish, and now Derren and the live events for the year.

But isn’t it on the 9th, am I just being dopey??? Or is it something to do with the whole backwards thing, ie, film the first one last??

I noticed too that it said the tickets were for the filming of the first of The Events, but that it would be after the 9th which is when the first show airs. I thought maybe the first show, which is going to be live apparently on 9th Sept will be like a lead up to the other events or something, but then I saw the four TV dates on Derren’s MySpace page and the 9th is the first of the four! So confused by all this trickery!

Did you get the email today from LostinTV about 3rd Sept? Got all excited again but then got an email saying no luck this time due to high demand. I only applied like 2 hours after they emailed! I guess you have to be on it the minute the emails come through. Maybe third time lucky if there is another chance in the future!?
