love and hate are abstract concepts, totally subjective and beyond adequate description through mere words. the brain scan simply shows a reflection of the experience of the subject, like a local map of the reality they are inhabiting. Love and hate can be appreciated as a kind of change of focus, or shift in conscious attention. regardless of the underlying affection or animosity, it affects our interpretation of the world and our tendency to fixate.

So only the people that leave you more in your own being will nto trigger that area. Only those with whom you got in sort of an emotional interaction will trigger that brain part. Avoid them .. I'd say .. eheheh ... It should not be triggered too much. Although it is not love nor hate they feel when watching a picture I guess, during those moments normally you wont being studied by some researchers, when you really feel love or hate .. . A picture mostly triggers a vague echo ... memory .. at times you would never feel it when you are with those in the picture but only when thinking of them or watching their pictures .....
What is love? What is hate? It does not last. Moments. Unless you start to focus on it in a abnormal way. Want it to be there ..

I don't know... I think anger tends to more subtle and justified, hate is too strong to use efficiently.

See where my name takes you to have a closer look at OUR WORLD.

Julian Pratt - I always thought that was the teachings of Yoda, then I realised your syntax is correct!
Did Yoda plagurise Buddha then?
That'll teach Buddha not to copyright his pearls of wisdom! What a muppet!

The buddhists teach that the chain is:

Ignorance
leads to
fear
leads to
anger
leads to
hatred
leads to
suffering

Trying to find where Tomb Raider fits into that sequence....

Anger to signify caring, fear to motivate ourselves, sadness to express our love, it's just the believe that these emotions are needed for these tasks, reinforced by what we've learned from everyone else. It's quite self-evident that whatever we can do with unhappiness, we can do better when we are happy. :)
