Jose Alvarenga was told by doctors at a state hospital in Asuncion, the Paraguayan capital, that his son had been pronounced dead shortly after birth.
Hospital orderlies delivered the premature baby’s body, which had been placed in a temporary coffin, to Mr Alvarenga’s home fours hours later.
Shortly afterwards, the grieving father opened the coffin to bid an emotional farewell to the infant.
“I opened it to look at his remains and found that the baby was breathing,” Mr Alvarenga recounted. “I began to cry.”

a f´´ckin gain?…what´s up with all those doctors??
wow what a head f*** but at least good news in the end.
Hm, I heard this different on the news … same story but baby died in the end when back at the hospital. Maybe it was not the same baby, I don’t recall the location.
A real tragedy for the parents anyhow … loosing your little one twice … Must have been a shock. Meaning, I stick to the story on Dutch news radio. The other one is better though. That’s a little miracle after a tremendous shock ..
That’s crazy. To think if the guy hadn’t of decided to bid his kid that final farewell. Something you don’t even want to comprehend!
“the babys eyes are closed and its not crying, doctor! what should we do?”
“its probably dead, just bury it, ok? and now leave me alone, my salmon is too chilled already”
@ReliegiousMarie – that made me laugh – ALOT!
Sorry, I meant Mr N not ReliegousMarie….
@Jimmy…Ah!
