Love his painting 'No Quarter'. What I love about realist painters is that they have option of painting a realist image in any composition they choose, so the art becomes the eye of the artist, not the accuracy of the image alone. Derrens "card shuffling" Trials clip with the man walking in the background was made to look as though it was going forward, but was actually going backwards.
