I am enjoying day 1 of obeying Richard Wiseman, but I am not sure how to make my birds smile.
Have signed up and am actively taking part by thinking how grateful I am that it is the school holidays and I don’t have to go to work! Think I will sign the kids up too in the hope that any positive results of taking part will last until they go back to school.

On second thoughts, scratch that idea… I don’t want parrots with a permanent rictus smile on my concience.
Besides, if I know parrots, they’ll have your fingers off long before you’ve turned that frown upside down!
They would indeed have my fingers off, their beaks are very sensitive. I have geckos who permanently look like they are smiling, though, I think they will just have to do.
My good deed is, today I made cherry cupcakes for my family. There should be plenty of smiles about it.
