my post didnt post on the other thread
but i got stuck, my forearms were stuck to my thighs, and my legs and a$$ were stuck to the sofa. Could move my hands and lower legs, and pull my back away from sofa but no way of gettin up and my elbows were jammed stuck to my sides too.
It felt like i had a boulder plonked on top of me. very weird feeling. The hubby wasnt stuck at all and feels very disappointed.
Brilliant show, feel very uplifted from the let down of the lotto explanation!! You are a genius Derren x
Oh and i totally got the Giraffe thing, saw it all…..and the Green chair Blue pen thing. Green chair was closest, and you would choose a blue pen as blue is the colour you write with, not red or green.

Derren Brown was so weird, when he was saying the films about to be played, it felt like he was hypnotising me. When I was watching the film I felt very heavy and I couldnt even blink. When it had finished I couldnt get up at all. It took me 10min to get up. It was all quite scary!!!

I felt myself sinking throughout the film but after i was only really dizzy, shakey and felt very heavy but i could stand up.
BUT I wasn’t sitting properly (because I was too frightened!) and wasn’t paying attention properly to anything before the film, which makes me think I missed all the PWA throughout the show?

didnt work for me. Too many distractions in house when i needed to concentrate. I have sky+ it. Is it possible it could work if i watch it again, or do you only get 1 shot at it.

It worked on me, felt like I had something heavy on my lap, and although could move from side to side I couldn’t stand up, despite my 12 year old daughter trying to tickle my feet which was annoying. Did feel relaxed and not panicked. Great show

Was a good show, it’s annoying to hear all those people that’re calling it shit because they lack imagination, but meh, I enjoyed it, was laying down, worked for only 30 seconds odd, though. Baring in mind I have a crappy 15″ TV, tomorrow going to find a high res version and watch it on monitor where it will be viewed HD (:
Btw, i’d just like to mention (in the above comment) – I didn’t mean to cause offense to who’ve may not experianced anything; there’s alot of things to say the least that causes different affects or makes it work differently wether it be your surroundings/atmosphere or you. But it’s sad to see so many judgemental people accusing it of being ’shit’ because they didn’t get what they wanted, or couldn’t project their own thoughts on themselfs well enough for it to work..
And while i’m here I may aswell elabourate on my experiance
considering the circumstances, I felt about a minute of comfort where I felt like I shouldn’t(?) get up, but after a while once I really tried; I found it hard to move my legs up as if it were against my will almost. Achieved after 30 seconds or so, was fun
Didn’t work for me, I’d Sky+ed it so I tried twice. Might try again. I thought you said there’d be no subliminal messages, I saw the guy in the chair.

i got really dizzy and my heart started beating well fast, and i was stuck while the video was actually playing but then i found i could stand up very quickly after it finished. so i think it partially worked on me hehe was still an awesome show, and it probably would have affected me more if my very sceptical bf hadnt been trying to distract me grrrrrrr

@Zamurazi LOL. That’s what you’re supposed to think… I noticed Derren’s words as I watched so suspect that was why they were wasted on me. He told us that the people who would be open to this would be the ones with ‘well-balanced, bright, creative personalities’ and that the people who fought it were wasting their time watching. So it’s no surprise it worked for you and you feel it had something to do with having the ‘best talent for responding to the film’ (another quote…) Again, no offence…
yup nicola gets it right i think. everyone wants to be a well balanced bright and creative person, so they want it to work, which makes it work (huh?) self fulfilling prophecy. but i guess that isn’t enough on some people, i.e. me.
