So finally after quite a few weeks some of you picked up on the hidden UV code in the posters that has triggered off the next competition by uploading it to You Tube and identifying the hidden word SOLOS/ROTOR/KAYAK etc in BRAILE in UV. (More on this later)
We KNOW that some of you haven’t had your posters yet and we are VERY SORRY about this. The lovely Tash emailed me very recently to tell me her poster only just arrived despite it’s post date of the 4th. This is due to the postal strikes – however it seems to be clearing up now.
So we’re holding off for a little while to make sure everyone who ordered BEFORE today is DEFINITELY included. Anyone ordering after today can take part in the competition when you receive your poster – you may be a bit behind though.
If you ordered before the 4th of September and haven’t received anything please email me immediately – some orders came through with no address – others have payment problems with pay pal – you should have been notified – get in touch and I’ll sort it out personally. Anyone who ordered after the 4th, your poster is on its way to you.
The prize will be announced soon and it’s going to be very nice – keep your eyes peeled for more codes and you’ll know things have kicked off when you see the rabbit.

@ Lady Claire – I’m sure I’ll be bollocked for my alternative therapy, but ask someone to get you some fizzy Vit C 1000mg from those who tell us every little helps (these ones taste better) and splosh 3 tabs in a big glass of juice or water and take another drink with a tablet each hour tonight till you go to bed – or until you feel a loo break coming on. Vit C can really do the trick with colds and it’s under a pound and adults can take large doses, so there’s no harm in trying. Hope you shake the bugs off.

The hardworking postpeople are not striking for more pay, but to protect jobs from the slash and burn management who have renaged on previous agreements and are refusing to commit to further talks. . All of us under the Royal Mail banner are proud to be public servants, but please don’t expect us to be shafted without a fight. Striking is always the last resort – no one can afford to lose pay (you don’t get paid when on strike) and no one wants to inconvenience the public who ultimately pay our wages. If you don’t like it, lobby your MP to fight to protect YOUR public services. Thanks.

Who thought of putting it under a UV light?
Now that I\’m looking for it, I can see marks on the poster without a UV light, just shine a light near it and move it slightly to see different markings on the surface. Don\’t waste your money on a light when you can just use your eyes!!!

I think this was a bit of a spoiler to be honest, whilst a few people had found the dots, explaining they were a code in braille has just given the game away for a lot of people that were still having fun decyphering their posters :/

I search the back and front i really wanted there to be a hidden message

OMG! I’m so sad, my poster (according to the lovely phillis, who i may add has been tres helpful in the situation) was number 12, and i had problems with no address supplied (I’m sure i did, I’m quite good at spending money via the internet!!) , paypal saying i hadn’t paid, then when all that was sorted the bleeding thins still hasn’t arrived! eep don’t start with out me!!! hehe
Got my poster just now, fab, ta v much for getting them out. Haven’t any UV lights, but I can’t spot any ink deposit, so I might not have a code; we’ll see later on. Nevertheless, it’s a bit quality, isn’t it?
Well found my word, and its vertically down the poster and over the white bits as well, oh what made it REALLY clear! lol
It looks like a template was used and smudged when it was moved as little “dribbles” are all over the edges.
So i assume the words are NOT random and follow a theme, so im going to do a little research contecting the words to date.

@JayKay – I’m sure you probably have, but have you tried directing the poster towards the light to see if you have ink deposits along the bottom of the poster under where it says Adelphi Theatre? They look like little ‘L’ shapes. Mine is the same as the video but just printed a bit further along. What number poster did you get? It seems that the majority of people’s posters read SOLOS?!?
I’m 223 and, yeh, I’ve had a wee look in the light, but there’s no raised deposit on or under the varnish. I’ve not been to any shows or anything – though we’ve bought tickets for pressies for others to go to previous shows – and it might be linked to that. But no worries, it’s still the perfect poster to finish off my row of black and red posters in the hall upstairs. Now I just have to get my arse in gear and get them in their frames and up on the walls!

You know, I’ve been a bit crap on the UV front. I can see nowt in the sun apart from a few random drops of what could be UV on it and I’ve tried to find a UV torch but it’s impossible. I thought I’d buy one online but figured it would take 3 weeks to get to me and a postie would steal it anyway – like he did my last 6 dvds – and I have had the poor guy in an electrical shop try to read it with his faulty UV note inspector. I’ve hoofed it around in my bag but keep forgetting to go to the bogs in Café Nero on Old Compton Street as it has an anti-jacking up UV light in there. I’m poster 223, so it’s not an early one.
God, I’m stinking as I sit here. My composter decided to wee all over the office and I’m covered in it. Have to go change, ‘scuse. Phew!
At this point my head is swimming in symbols and all sorts but here is where I am so far. His Video – the events is very visual, black and red, the girls baloon has an eagle on it, which some have been saying is the barclays symbol. Its more like the russian coat of arms and there are words round the symbol, i think, something international airport. It is a baloon after all. Then there many other visual refrences. However its all reversed, back to front and some clips he is upside down. I have closed my eyes after this brail thing, and listened to the advert, remember he had that blind guy in his programme who could almost sonar his way around. Then the palindromes. Well rotor, solos are magikal formulae. Kayak isnt but but all back to front references. Up is down, back is front (shrugs)

Deffo no UV on my poster. Went to the Tate today and somehow KNEW there would be something UV in there. A whole room in the pop culture exhibition. i whipped it out in there. But nowt. I also went to see UP 3D at the cinema (you MUST go see this – it is laugh out loud and you also get to have a wee snottery tear) and had a look at the poster with 3D glasses. Nowt special at all on my poster. Sob. However, there is a stainless steel Jeff Koons bunny at the Tate..? I know. I tried.

The Post Office has totally screwed up so many orders I’ve lost count. The UV marked versions are no longer the only ones to be entered. I’m still waiting for the THIRD send out of some posters to get to the rightful owners.

Cos I’ve been looking up some bits and bobs about the poster again, I had the weirdest of Derren dreams again last night… I had to go to this big office/warehouse thing for an audition and no one really spoke to me there. Phillis, who looked like a cross between Walliams and my old dead toothless agent (sorry Phillis) in a flattened, squint, hairlacker-coated blonde cancer wig and a shabby beige poloneck and ski pants? (even more apologies) handed me a piece of paper with instructions. I made my way to the slide at forwardsplash and me and Coopy had to roll down this slide together in a specially linked hold – no one told me how to do the hold, I had to guess and not speak as I did it. Then I had to do it on my own. This time, when I stood up in the shallows of the pool… Ctnd

Ctnd… there were loads of little threadlike nematode worms burrowing into my thighs. Brown Towers realised that the water was dirty (it was now like a cesspool around my legs) and they all apologised and got me out of the water and I had to have a rough towelling down to get rid of the worms. Again, no one really spoke to me, but Phillis came back in, slightly younger-looking for some reason and with prominent teeth and her wig dragged more forward over her forehead and said well done I’d done enough to get a prize. Thank Christ I needed a pee and had to get up. I’m all disconcerted this morning… Mummy…

did anyone get a word other than SOLOS as that’s what mine translates as and is the name of the competition. What’s with the other words mentioned?
Has anyone thought that this whole competition could be like Trick or treat series 2, episode 6? We are all trying to make sense of these random, spontaneous words, symbols trying to attach a meaning to them in order to win this competition when in fact it could all be that a random name is chosen out of a hat and they are the winner?

The word clues might be palindromes, some solutions might be mnemonic: “3:31″ is one way to note that time as well as pi == P; eigenvalues are involved in math describing surfaces == S; spearman’s hypotheses are used to survey intelligence == I. Measure your PSI anyone?
