Our very own and brilliant Andy Nyman is set to star in a new one-off Channel 4 comedy.
“Campus is set in a fictitious red-brick university and explores the lives and souls of a handful of people that work there – some as academics, some simply involved in the general running of the place. With a semi-improvised feel, it will feature an ensemble cast, and is made by the team behind Green Wing and Smack the Pony, including producer Victoria Pile.”
Andy stars as Jonty De Wolf, the monstrous Vice Chancellor of the university.
Campus airs on Channel 4 at 10pm, November 6th.

I’ll have to remember to watch this. Made by the creators of one of my favourite comedy shows, Green Wing, I very much look forward to seeing this.
As someone who works in just such an establishment I will look forward to it, although I fear it will never quite live up to the ludicrous goings on in real life…. [bangs head on desk]

Ah, lots of stuff always happens on the campus. I work there myself .. ehehehe .. The so called academics .. hm …. oh yes, lots to tell there … let’s hope they will show you in this series the true good stuff.
There is a book in Holland about the same thing. Never read as people who read it, told me there was completely nothing going on and they loved it. Well .. I like to be in a bit more alive surroundings so no ..
Andy Newman .. oh, he can come work here at our campus. Or do some research for his role, but hey .. he probably did that (sort of ..) in the UK. Therefor it might become a bit a bore .. campusses in the UK …
