Good Afternoon Labia and Genitals.
Just to let you know that yours truly is working on a 3-part documentary series which will hopefully be out and about at the start of next year. What, oh what oh what oh what are the documentaries going to be about, I like to imagine you asking. Well shush your lips up and I shall say.
The idea is to spend a week or so for each one-hour documentary with a person who makes some kind of paranormal claim, and see what they get up to. As a sceptic (as opposed to a cynic), I’m interested in to what extent the evidence for their claims holds up, and thusly and therefore will be asking what are hopefully all the right questions along the way. Doing what I do for a living, my desire for these claims to hold up is accompanied by the fact I would love to be convinced and for the claims to be true. After all, I spend most of my time fabricating those very powers or worlds myself.
So far I’ve made two, and we’re doing one more for now. If you like them, then hopefully there’ll be more again. It’s been a fascinating journey for me, and there have been surprises and things I’ve learnt along the way. There have been very uncomfortable moments and some particularly eye-opening ones. The documentary participants have surprised me, and dealt with questioning that must have seemed at times relentless and pedantic. I certainly don’t have quite the gung-ho scepticism I had: I’ve realised it’s a much more complex and human area than I had imagined.
I shall blog more on the subject when the docs come out. We’re unsure of the title at the moment: ‘Derren Brown meets…’ and ‘The Unexplained’ have been suggested, both of which make me feel a little wobbly.
Hope you’re all happy.

…and we don’t like wobbly Derren, nope nope nope!
How exciting for you, I bet you really enjoyed filming that, warts and all.
sounds very interesting. You do make good TV @ Derren.Yours are one of the few programs i watch. Along with David Attenborough, south park and family guy
I don’t know what that says about me!
Keep up the good work Derren!
Sounds great Derren. Looking forward to them
These documentaries sound absolutely fascinating, Derren.
Having seen psychics at work myself & what I thought was a ghost (indeed, my sister & her husband have ‘met’ one they shared a house with) etc, that side of all things paranormal holds a great deal of interest for me.
I really can’t wait for these programmes and await them with absolute eargerness!
Btw, yes I’m happy, thankyou. I shall be an Auntie in a few weeks time, so I’m very happy!!
Take care,
LC x
Sounds fascinating.
Hi Derren, I can travel backwards and forwards through time (using only my mind), talk to aliens, turn oranges into fluffy bunnies, and am actually the ultimate power in the universe… and that is just for starters! How about spending a week with me? : P
p.s. Sounds like a great idea for a show. Can’t wait to see it.
Sounds interesting!
That sounds like a spiffing idea, will be looking out for those!
Btw, nice intro, Derren. I feel honoured for you to call me ‘Labia’……lol
LC x
what about something simple… Derren Brown’s Paranormal People
Why labia seperately from genitals? Are you strangely intrigued by them?
Weren’t you working on a series like that already? Postponed then I guess.
The science of scams fits in there as well I guess. Sort of.
Anyhow, sounds as something for the brits to look forward to.
Uncomforteable moments? Oh, don’t you feel like sharing them with us. We like hearing about discomfort and uncomforteable feelings, as about the opposite. Don’t hesitate ..
You will be convinced .. eventually .. it may take some time. I wont explain. But you will. With time. You may look forward to that (the tone is the same as some psychics use .. you MAY look forward to that ..).
Titles huh … depends on what style the series is wrapped up in ofcourse. And how you bring it. Etc.
You’ll work it out ..
Hi, The new shows sound fantastic, although your greeting made me cross my legs lol….anyway, why dont you check out those new age STARSEED People or Lightworkers, they have some rather outlandish claims, would love to see what you make of them on screen….xx
First post!
Very much look forward to them
‘I certainly don’t have quite the gung-ho scepticism I had…’
If it didn’t already sound like an interesting programme, that sentence alone would be enough to make me watch! Anything that is inexplicable enough to move Derren HAS to be good!
They sound interesting, looking forward to seeing them! I hope you are happy too
x
can’t wait! fascinating topic
Wooooo! Can’t wait for these! I’m sure it will be great.
Wooooo! Can’t wait for these. I’m sure they’ll be great.
dear Darren,
well keep going, can’t wait to see your next masterpiece. I share most of your views and have to say that I especially appreciate your touch of humour.
I am undoubetly one of you biggest fan in Italy.
all the best
Giuseppe
PS I am using my power of vision to anticipate it’s going to be a great success! ;o)
Sound good! Cannot wait for those
I bet none of them predicted the lottery tho
Oh how exciting
. Do you ever stop working?!
sounds good.
as for the title, how about something like ‘Sceptic’. Keep it simple. I hate all the ones that start with “Blahblah meets…” makes me cringe!
Sounds awesome…can’t wait! (: x
sounds awesome, and i expect it will incorporate the harsh questioning tones of dawkins with the friendly and playful nature of bill maher. any less and i shall be dissapointed :p
How about “Derren Brown: Open to Suggestion”
Looking forward to it Derren!
Hope you’re happy too. X
Well this soudns like it will be VERY interesting… looking forward too seeing how people get away with these things!
Can’t wait but please don’t call it “Derren Brown meets…”. It sounds like a chat show or something awful presented by Piers Morgan!
How about “Derren The Debunker”?
Darren Brown …… “Busts Ghostsbusters” now thats a title, i think i will go and trade mark that!! ……….maybe not
What about “The Sceptic meets the Psychics” for a title
I love shows like this
How about calling it “Treats of the Mind”?
Sounds really interesting. Have you thought about “The Brown Noise?”
but what happens when i do this :’(
I love the icons
oh :’(
Derren, your greeting was superb! Thats twice in two days you’ve made me burst out laughing!
Documentaries sound great, looking forward to seeing them.
Stay cool x
Whenever it is, it\’ll never see the states. I;’l have to wait days later for Youtube.
Sounds interesting, i’ll be tuning in when they’re on!
Personally i think ‘The Unexplained’ sounds a bit naff!
Sounds great! May I suggest “Derren Brown’s Weird Week”?
I know! I know! Derren Brown meets The Unexplained!
yessss…
Can’t wait! Sounds like something that’s just up my street.. but then everything you do derren, is. xx
Looking forward to the series! What about calling it something like “probing the mystic”? hehe
this sounds excellent! really looking forward to seeing it, but a little concerned about being able to in the US. think y’all could get a deal with Hulu going for it? have your people call their people, they’ll do lunch, love ya babe.
I know “sceptic” is an acceptable alternate spelling of “skeptic”, but when I read it, it sounds like “septic” in my mind. conjures (heh) unfortunate connotations.
hi derren i cnt wait either!! ur great !! xx
I am a Richard Dawkins and Derren Brown fan from Greece. This doc is for me!!
Ahhh, I’ve been waiting to find out why you were in Southport a while back. I’m presuming that you were filming for this
that’s really great…but wonder when would Derren learn us how to do his stuffs:P
Sounds fantastic!
About the name, what about……
‘Derren Brown’s Hypothesis’
‘The House of Cards’
‘The Problematique’
‘Unnatural Selection’
anyway, cant wait til it airs!
Sounds fantastic, i can’t wait. I enjoy seeing the softer side of Derren, the public love him and shows like this one will let him shine in the spotlight. He is very good at bringing audiences on a journey with him, and there are may people out there who are fascinated by the “Unexplained”.
Sounds Great. x x
P.s Some names choices
“Keeping up dissapearences”
“The life and times of scepticism”
“Seventh sense”
” From utopia with love”
I’m perfectly peachy thanks, happiest I’ve been in ages, hope your peachy too? I can see why your not feeling the suggested titles so far. Possibly just as bad (I have been awake a very long time), and I agree with Ms G it’s very dependent on the production angle, but how about ‘Surprising Scepticism’… allows you to retain or re-evaluate said scepticism accordingly. Now that I’ve had my tupence worth I shall crack on with the tedious assignment I have been avoiding for two days. All the best as always, and I shall look forward to the doc’s being aired…
Sounds like an awesome project, man. Can’t wait to see the end result
“I certainly don’t have quite the gung-ho scepticism I had: I’ve realised it’s a much more complex and human area than I had imagined.”
Well that’s certainly made it even more intriguing. Can’t wait for this, it sounds fascinating!
How about Derren Brown meets the fraudulent furniture shufflers of Most Haunted?… No?… Oh well
I’ve always thought that some ham acting and a few history books is all this show is about. Could be a winner.
Have a good day
Troy
if you do one about the paranormal and ghosts, how about calling it “Derren’s Brown trousers time”?
Interesting stuff. I own a crystal shop in Cornwall, and as such meet many many many – dear god too many egotestical healing ufo dousing ghost rumbling wand wielding pillocks. So many in fact that are full of themselves its enough to put you off. However, that said, I do readings for people who are really on the ragged edge and need some sort of guidance. I dont charge and never will because I feel that I could be wrongly interpreting what I see which I make clear. I am pagan also. But my background is Nuclear Health Physics so not a cloak swooshing eye rolling Johnny Depp typ. So I believe in things I just dont believe in a lot of people. Derren if you want to discover the truth, dont go looking, let it find you. If we share our techniques exaclty some common technique may arise then grow
Don’t call it ‘Derren Brown Meets…’ You always know to avoid shows with a name like that. I like a name someone else mentioned; ‘Sceptic’. Nice and simple.
P.s. My sister wants me to suggest ‘Derren Brown: Psychic Diaries’ (I know, I know…..But she’s young!)
- Not be confused with the upcoming “Derren Brown Meats – Derren runs a butcher shop stocked entirely with stolen sausage.” – Phillis
I’d forgotten about these docs. Very much looking forward to seeing them.
You could nick what I believe Dawkins was going to call ‘The Enemies Of Reason’ before it eventually was called… er… ‘The Enemies Of Reason’:
‘The Sceptical Inquirer’
Muchas grassyarse.
It would be great if you called it “Derren Brown goes a little bit wobbly” !
“well shush your lips and i shall say” MEGALOLAGE! Oh you are very funny! And extremely EXTREMELY charming…. Anyway can’t wait for these shows and more importantly tour! Im seeing you for the first time EVER in a place called Crawley…im not gonna lie i dont know even know where that is…ha! Take care sir xoxo
Call it something like all those ghost shows on Living. Like, Derren Brown: Ghost Hunter or whatever they call those things x3.
I’m so glad about the topic of these documentaries. I love to contemplate the sort of areas you cover, and I would find it helpful, interesting and, most importantly, stimulating to let your journeys throw me off of my feet and delve around and explore something I’m probably too naive (being a fourteen-year-old girl) to pass judgement on.
What makes me feel a little wobbly, Derren, is the thought that you’ll never read this, because I’d really love to know that you know how interesting you are to me – and I’m sure most people feel the same way, but that doesn’t make the feeling any less significant.
Thank you Derren! x x x
sounds really good – always hoped u might do something deeper into the unexplained so can’t wait.
happy happy happy. x
My dad used to get a weekly periodical on the paranormal in the eighties, when I was a tiny, called “The Unexplained.” It was, on the whole, very poorly written, which is surprising because a large number of the writers for it still write for the Fortean Times, which is not.
That is all
ooh – the spam box has gone!?
Good lord Derren, intros like that can be slightly unnerving you know, makes one wonder how much you actually CAN see… *crosses legs*
Sounds jolly interesting though – count me in! How about ‘Derren’s Do-They-Or-Don’t-They…’ as in, have it or not… LOL
Looking forward to it!
))
Title could be ‘Derren Brown meets…his likes’
Cool – please say you will be meeting Derek Acorah – you could test his ‘residual’ powers !!! and also meet his spirit guide … he’s such a fake and made alot of money out of people’s strong held beliefs/
I would like to think that there is something more to the life currently – research and experiments Americans are doing are looking hopeful for an afterlife ???
I know that we will all love the show with your humour and interest in so many subjects
Love Ya ju
xx
How about
‘Derren Brown: Psy-kicks
Not a huge fan of ‘The Unexplained’ myself, if just because nearly every crackpot supernatural or pseudoscientific claim has already been pretty bloody thoroughly explained. Personally I’d go with ‘Derren Brown meets the lying liars and the hopelessly self-deluded’, but that might tip your hand too early.
How about Derren Brown Believes? Or Derren Browns Beliefs? Make me Believe
Open my Eyes, Derren Browns Truth or Tail? Derren browns Believers!
Theres just a few for starters. Hope this spurs you on. Jo x
Very curious to see this series! I’d maybe describe myself as a “cynic” rather than a sceptic and it gets me into way too much trouble, so maybe your documentaries can help me be more flexible with the other side. I’m curious to hear about this human aspect without having it muddled up with neo-scientific or overly spiritual hogwash.
Some great suggestions for titles in previous comments!
Ooops sorry thats Tale not Tail hehe xx
A “louis Theroux”-meets-”Derren Brown”-style documentary? Sounds fantastic
In the interests of balance, will someone such as James Randi also be interviewed?
sounds totally fascinating Derren, but i’m most keen to learn is what YOU learnt and if/how it changed any of your views and ideas…
I’VE GOT IT.
Derren Brown: Mostly Haunted.
Clever eh?
Would it be incredibly bad taste to call it “Out of the pink and into the Brown”? ……..ok.. that probably has no relevance to the show at hand and should probably be saved for a show about sexual suggestion.
unexplained: adj; strange or unclear because the reason for it is unknown.
so maybe the title should have the word reason in it beacuse about 6 of the 10 definitions in my dictionary would seem fitting.
any thoughts on this peeps?
I think what Derren meant to say was this:
“And behind it all there is a massive industry…..err I mean massive cover up of information by independant government research that uses billions of dollars to research all these phenomenons and use front groups to counter the possibility of such abilities thus raising the awareness of the massses as all this being one big hoax and so we then deem it crazy when anyone utters the word paranormal. Just like front groups used to counter the truth about global warming.
The scientific evidence may not have emerged because those in the know don’t want it to be….. just a possiblity but it’s unlikely since our governments are angels.
I have a backpack full of pigs and I will release them then they will go “Oink Oink Oink” then spread Swine Flu..
“I’ve realised it’s a much more complex and human area than I had imagined.”
That’s nice to hear.. makes you seem more human Derren
not quite how one would like to be addressed…
have you not got a better way?
Count me in…..again!!
Look forward to viewing those early next year Derren with an open mind as i am with most things not sure if you were aware but down in Aberystwyth they do a week long thing on mediumship/spiritualism (Fiona & Jean (work together) both ive seen in person here in Yorkshire, Fiona is the one that really leaves me thinking OK now thats something unusual with what she does – they are the main 2 in attendance along with others within this field of work) & you learn transfiguration & all that. My gran & my uncle have both been on these courses & say they are worth popping along too just to get a more insight into the area of spiritualism.
Different titles for the doc’s though is very much needed as they really dont have a catchy hook to them and they sound like a lame choices (sorry)
much ♥ xox
I love this idea and I think it must be a quite interesting one. I’m very sceptic but was truly impressed when I went to a “Pai-de-santo” in Bahia (Brazil). I like to think he instinctively used the same sort of techniques you use professionally. However, isn’t that amazing enough?
Great idea, Houdini went round the states trying to find a medium who would or could give him access to the spirit world, he unmasked the lot of em as a shower. Would have been great if we could have had a camera crew with him and now we can, our very own Victorian marvel for the modern age Mr Derren Brown Esq. F@@king A!
p.s forget the roulette thing most people I know think you did it on purpose any way, not sure about the Stewie impression though.
How about
“Brown Noising”
I would do anything just to sit down and have a chat with you
You’re a fascinating person and i’d love to just listen to your views on life and well…stuff
The new programmes sound amazing! Please keep making them, i’m hooked
Love you Derren!
Just wanted to see what the sad face was like lol
Yeeeayeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
we want more we want more !!! i hope you´ll never get rich enough to stop sharing your genious ideas with us
I should probably stop buying your stuff?
I think this is a brilliant idea, but my only concern is the upshot for the participants. I hope that its done with sincerity and dignity it deserves and doesn’t become a character assassination fest.
Maybe a guest could be David Icke … 12ft shapeshifting reptiliams and all.
I really hope you go after John Edward, Sylvia Brown, and James van Praagh!
We could do with more people like yourself with their feet planted firmly on the ground debunking the sooth-sayers, charlatons and emotional con merchants.
Looking forward to it Mr. B.
Kev
And Pet “Psychic” Sonya Fitzpatrick
Derren, In these shows do you get to punch Derek Acorah? And if you don’t, can I?
- Please! We do not support violence here – maybe wee on his leg at the most, we just can’t have fisticuffs – Phillis
Yay! Looking forward to more great tv. At last my colleagues have heard of you too – was getting a little bored constantly explaining who Derren Brown is whenever I go to see him
‘Not be confused with the upcoming “Derren Brown Meats – Derren runs a butcher shop stocked entirely with stolen sausage.” ‘
Phillis, you fool! LOL!
I like Derren Brown’s Paranormal People, or even Derren Brown: Open to Suggestion from the ideas above.
But I don’t like Derren Brown meets… It’s too Louis Theroux, and that’s just not you. And The Unexplained sounds even worse.
If you use the word skeptic you’ll have to decide on the US or UK spelling.
Interesting that you are a skeptic as opposed to a cynic. I’ve always appreciated your openness and honesty about those things (despite you making a living “fabricating”.)
Hey You got rid of the type the code letters thing to prevent spam!
How about
‘Derren Brown Meets…. OR DOES HE?!!’
I agree with Wardville, above, ‘Derren Brown: Open to Suggestion’ – that’s a great title.
Im liking Wardvilles suggestion of – “Derren Brown: Open to Suggestion”
Oh…this sounds interesting. Are we going to see the Derren Brown meets Joe Power one it sounds fascinating. ‘The Oracle’ was one of my favourite pieces from ‘Evening of Wonders’ and more of the same would be wonderful. I find anything to do with the paranormal intriguing so I’m looking forward to the documentaries.
‘Thanks so much for ‘The Events’ (especially the Casino one) and as always you have left a whole nation questioning and debating… but then we wouldn’t want it any other way.
Yes I’m happy lol
Well i´m very curious ofcourse…yours sounds interesting!
How about: ´Unexplained Treats or Psychic Tricks?´
tata
x
“Lips of shame” those are referred to in Holland .
And genitals .. can be read in Holland as “all enjoy”
I look forward to the series, if they ever become for sale on dvd or such, or maybe on you tube.
The russian school wont be in there, or was that another series which never got finished?
Now, I think that’s about it.
Be Happy, with or without MMS! Or those genethings.
You could always visit Brighton … might be something of interest to you ..
sounds great, can’t wait!
how about ‘anecdotal’?
For journo-style Documentaries you can always fall back on:
-
“meet the…
…psychics
…politicians
…men who stare at goats”
-
The last one would be great, if someone could get some making a hamster “go a bit wobbly” by starring at it on TV.
Best of luck with it Derren! By the way do people in Ireland call you Darren a lot? I keep doing it!
Title for the Documentaries – ‘Surprised Sceptic’, bit wobbly?
‘Unreal powers’, ‘All in the mind’, ‘walking the line’, prove the unprovable…..
actually, this is hard to do and they’re all rather unstable from a equilibrium vantage…….
Just sitting down to watch beat the casino to try and figure out how you did it (besides your fantastic memory…)
Looking forward to the shows, feel free to drop over for dinner!!
why not call the series paranormal claims r us Derren Brown investigates
Shall look forward to this….can only hope that you have maybe plucked up the courage to go on an actual paranormal investigation at a reputed haunted location before deciding that that certain realm cannot exist…i shall wait and see.
@RobCu – It’s funny you should say that, cos when I spoke to someone at work about Derren (who shockingly didn’t know who he was or what he did…..shameful!) she actually thought he was Irish! And someone I mentioned him to online thought he was American!
LC x
How about “Invetigation In Progress!” for the name…
Hi Derren
Ive always found the paranormal facinating but still have an open mind on the subject even though i have witnessed things i cant explain, so really looking forward to your docs. Loved Stewie by the way.
Sounds interesting. Best of luck with it all.
I have a couple of suggestion, don’t believe they’ve been made yet… plus are kind off a rip-off.
“DB:- Tales of the unexpected.”
OR
“Rational expectations.”
??? Pants aren’t they
Pax, amor et concordia.
x
How about ‘Heaven and Earth’ – As in ‘there are more things in Heaven and Earth Horatio…’
Looking forward to it.
Yey can’t wait! i know it will be as wonderful as everything else you’ve made
Loving the use of “thusly and therefore” be any cuter?
Cat xxx
How about calling it ‘Trick or Treat?’
Call me a cynic, but how about ‘Derren Brown: this show fuses delusion, wishful-thinking, self-deception, pseudoscience and showmanship: the people featured in this program achieve the results you’ll see in a varied mixture of those techniques’. You’d have trouble fitting it in the Radio Times, mind you.
Hope you did the pope
were any of the subjects interviewed call Simon Kick?
OK ………………. ENOUGH……………………. working on one of Derrens techniques …………… and using what we already know try “Derren Brown – World of Strange Powers” It was a show by Arthur C Clark in the um…… coughs 80′s. Anyhow it was about this sort of thing and because everyone of a certain age may have watched it, heard about it, or talked about it, it would register with their subconscious and make everyone watch this series.
ta da
Derren, i’d be happy to show you ‘Telekenises’.
All that’s clear to me is you understand what some people call ‘super conscious’ which is like an intuition, which is what you’ve been using, like super fast processing that the brain does alone, I think you’ve been claiming too much credit, because everyone has these capabilities, previously called ‘psychic’.
I don’t know what you’d make of Telekenises, what logical explination would you have to figure out, I think that would be a hard one.. An example, moving a rizla that’s under a water measuring jug.
Although I wouldn’t want a camera on me; I wouldn’t want to be publicised.
Skeptics can bash me but it’s ok
The Wide-Eyed Sceptic.
Can’t wait for this next year, it would be a great birthday present to sit and watch (aim for the end of Jan)! I love some of the titles people have come up with, some of them are really funny, good work!
Thanks for ‘The Events’ DB and team, brilliant series, especially enjoyed the casino one.
Also i agree with whoever it was that said DB is one of the only things worth watching on TV alongside David Attenborough, South Park and Family Guy (although personally i can’t stand Family Guy – sorry to everyone out there who loves it and Derren, even though i don’t like the show your Stewie impression was spot on!)
Hope you are happy too Derren! Thanks for keeping my mind spinning………….xxxx
One more thing – I think Derrens ‘Oops’ face that appeared at the top of the website should be the face for :S or :/ or something…..
Has anyone else seen that ‘Kick Ass Miracles’ show ????
How bout ‘Derren & the Paranormals’, simple but pretty much explains it
(Note to Matt Sampson: I think you’ll find he’s already done ‘Trick or Treat’ – cha, call yourself a fan? lol)
Derren Brown’s Pickles, Derren Brown’s Mare, Derren Brown’s Big Headache, Derren Brown’s Holes, Derren Brown’s Huge Gordion Knot, Derren Brown’s Sticky Spots, Derren Brown’s Uncracked Nuts, Derren Brown’s Fancies…
Derren’s Danglers…
Laila: that sounds like a band. He ought to call this show “Mindfreak,” because it totally freaked out his mind.
‘Derren Brown’s Spandex Adventures’…..?
‘Derren Brown – Fact or Fiction?’
‘Derren Brown – Urban Legends’ (that one’s a bit wobbly)
It kind of depends whether or not the show is supposed to be a simple curiosity, or more dark and mysterious. If the latter, I like ‘All in the Mind?’ or ‘World of Strange Powers’ from the ones that have been mentioned; if the former, then ‘Open to Suggestion’ is a good one……or ‘Derren Brown’s Spandex Adventures’.
awww duuuude… wish i could get involved on a project like this…!
@ peter you can’t punch derek acorah thats unkind. and stooping to an uneccessary level.
what you can do is ask him why the “ghost” he described in maidstone museum looked suspisiously like the painting of a little boy in the art gallery there that my mate saw him staring at for 10 mins beforehand, ahem.
Sounds good
Derren Brown: The Paranormal Truth? xD
“I’ve realised it’s a much more complex and human area than I had imagined.”
I’m glad to read that, but also a tiny bit suprised.
(I sure hope that’s a fitting & decent word, english is not my native language) *big grin*
I really thought an intelligent and charismatic man like yourself would be more open to the infinite wonders and possibillities in this world.
Ofcourse you’re also a tiny bit cocky
Thanx, I’m reasonably happy this evening.
How about ‘Mindopeners’ for the doc’s ?
Sounds like a fantastic concept. Looking forward.
In keeping with the thoroughly crap suggestions for a title that I’ve skimmed on my way to the bottom of the comments (and, as it so happens, the proverbial barrel), here’s my tongue-in-cheek suggestions:
Derren Brown – Psychic Stalker
Knowing Me Knowing Woo… with Derren Brown
Derren Brown’s – Wish I Could Get This Week Of My Life Back.
Whatever you call it, I’m sure it’s going to be an enlightening experience.
I can turn gay men straight…..fact. Now Derren, you should come and spend a week with me or alternatively please consider putting more dates on in Hull.
Can’t wait for your Docu’s
D x
maybe it should be called “derren brown feels a bit wobbly”
“I’ve realised it’s a much more complex and human area than I had imagined.”
It is indeed and thank you for acknowledging it.:)
Keep the title simple like ‘Derren Brown steps into the Void….’
What about Derren does Dallas …sorry thinking of another film entirely, still an interesting idea though. Really looking forward to the new series.
You could call the show, “Paranormal Truths.” It sounds really good, looking forward to it.
@ helen (9th October)
Hey, Maidstone Museum! I used to do voluntary work there! Wasn’t there when Derek Acorah visited (thank God,) but I spoke to some of the staff, and they said he was pretty crap. He also apparently mentioned a girl called Flora who smelled like flowers, and, funnily enough, there’s a picture of a gypsy girl draped in flowers in the entrance hall, and the name plate says ‘Flora’. Ooooh, impressive!
Hi Derren
You are welcome to come round to our flat in Kent – we had a medium “clear” it recently and the meduim said it was the worst she had experienced in 20 years of doing it. Its getting something of a “name” for itself in the local area (we’d quite like to move out to be honest!)
People (not spiritual people) experience lack of breath, heat and “see” smoke in the flat regularly and the air gets thick regularly, not to mention everything going missing constantly. People have tried to take pictures of “orbs” and their cameras have shut down. Its an old building and spiritual people think there is some kind of portal in the terraces (built in 1850).
Your welcome to come along and see what you can pick up! I’d be very surprised if it didn’t have an effect of some kind on you!
May I just say about the picture above, if all men looked liked Derren I would be a very happy person!
Sounds brilliant, can’t wait!
@ Richard – Where abouts in Kent do you live?
I think i may of heard a bit about that going ’round my local village. ( I also live in Kent). xD
what about Derren Brown’s patch.
I am amazed that Mr Brown would even investigate psychics, as he does have contact with a lot of freemasons. Its common knowledge that in the freemasons, at the higher levels they are taught to open the third eye. I also read that Mr Brown himself was freemason, if this is true it does make you wonder why he is debunking psychics.
- I’m afraid you’re wrong on all counts there. He has no known contact with any freemasons and was not one himself. – Phillis
It looks really scary on the tv adverts, i even got nightmares from that?
