The Nigerian ones are my favourite, but I like to string them along and see how far they will go to prove it isn’t a scam. Seen a site years ago where this person would string them along for ages and get them to take stupid pics of themselves to prove it wasn’t a hoax so decided to do the same, you get some really funny stuff come back and the broken English is classic. Then right at the end I try and sell them something or tell them they need to pay me £x for services recieved that i have provided!!!
I’m been attempted to be scammed so many times with these PayPal ‘phishing’ emails that they’ve become quite laughable, they’re so blatant.
But one thing I never do, whether I know where the email came or not, is click on a link within one.
It’s about time that a very good hoax will be created .. one that makes people laugh afterwards and enlightened while it is there …
The joke about celibacy (the priest or vicar that came running out a church .. the word was not celibacy .. it was ……. That should have been it … that should have become clear to those not ready to accept that .. that it is a hoax …. wouldn that be cool .. would solve a few things here and there ..
I see affiliate marketing made it in there. It’s all about traffic innit.. Where are your adsense ad’s Derren? hehe
I love the Nigerian emails that come, great source of comedy!
I’m sorry to be brutal but anyone who falls for these must be seriously stupid!
Darren.
I’m suspicious that clicking the link will lead me to be scammed…
