He himself ofcourse killed them all, probably by letting them starve to death by not feeding them or such. Not much of a tribute in this, seeing this useless statue. Well I guess it feeds into their notion of everything being "impermanent" so that part fits with their beliefs. Maybe they should re-name this one the 'bhugga'?
