Does anyone know where i can send some babies clothing to help, we have a 7 month old baby who came into this world with far to many clothes and most if the clothing hasnt been opened. The cloths are from new born to 7 months.

If anyone knows somebody directly effected i have no problem in delivery the clothes as there is 3 large black bags and we have a moses basket to donate along with the clothes

Awful what has happened. We live in Preston and visit the Lake District 2-3 times a month to get out walking. Think that there def needs to be a more diverse way of helping all the people that have been affected by this. When there are disasters in other countries, there are phonelines advertised all over the tv so people can make donations. (I had to type in ‘help Cockermouth’ into Google to find out how to donate anything).
The Lake District is a very special place and we are lucky that there is such beauty on our doorstep. Every one up and down the country who uses the Lake District from sightseeing to rock climbing, must take responsibility for getting it back on it’s feet again. Good Luck to everyone, you have our promise that we will be back there as soon as we can x

We have baby toys, some childrens clothes, an unopened set of Famous Five books waiting for a new home. If these would help anyone please contact us through this site and we would be happy to send them. Any thing else that is needed, if someone posts it we can rummage and see.

We have 3 single beds almost new mattresses, 2 settees and 4 arm chairs available to anyone affected by recent flooding and un insured all for free. We are 11/2 hours east of west cumbria.
