Nope. You can even see the shadows in the animation. None of the faked ground-shots showed that effect, however.
Oops, I meant: I kinda *wish* we had rings.

thats actually quite beautiful. It would probably be irresponsible blah blah blah, but we should think about launching a few (million) tonnes of waste up into orbit and make it ourselves. That’ll be awesome!

That would be an even harder world for the flat-earthers :p … but then again, there would be a ton of mythological explanations for the rings!
