I don’t know about this one Phillis, but have you ever seen any Peter Funch? He composits together loads of photos of same scene keeping common themed elements (like people yawning). Some are very subtle, and take a while to work out what the theme is, others are really striking.
It’s just a picture upside-down, no?
Looks cool for the first few seconds alright but after I figured out what it was, it just stays an upside-down picture.
I think this must be a photoshop job. The shadows are exact reflections of each character, with none of the distortion you’d expect from having the sun at an angle casting a shadow.
that makes my head hurt
It makes mye head hurt
Oh, the shadows have people, as opposed to us [people] having shadows, Kinda trippy

look under Babel Tales.
What’s really head-hurty is that chap on the top left with his head superimposed on someone else’s shadow.
Didnt the band Muse do something like this for a poster?
Am I missing something? It’s just an upside-down photo.

this is a reverse image searching website, you put the image in and find out. try it for these
Love teh Funch stuff!
I think this is brilliant , simple but great
It’s not a composite at all, merely an upside down photo, albeit clever.
Is this an effect rather than an illusion?
this picture gives me a tummy ache in my brain
@William Satire thanks for the link
Does that mean we are just reflections of our shadows?
Can you imagine those in a gallery in front of this picture ……. up side down ..
Even more fun on iPhone trying to turn it upside down

Here is one that I remember that has the shadows of some camels.

It’s an eye-catching image, though
