When the picture was loading up, I was talking to my sister. She then pointed to the screen, which my face was about 3cm from and I screamed and jumped out of the chair.

This is from the girl who found the Saw ride in Thorpe Park 'tame'.

Anyway, I'm not closed minded about these things, but that does look fake. The proportions of the tail would not be able to carry the head for starters.

When it comes to Cryptids I'm always more keen to believe in most of them as there is alot humanity hasn't yet discovered on this planet. That picture however is a hoax as the one the woman caught just depicts something moving along the surface of the water. Most water based cryptids are thought to be Pilosaurs and realated species. Sadly none have yet been proven, i do believe though that there is alot out there we don't know about and have yet to find.

Horvath grabbed her camera and managed to fire off one shot before the batteries failed.

Funny how often cameras fail when snapping monsters.

Interesting stuff. I remember when I went to Loch Ness when I was 11, they had one of those sonar fish finders on the boat. Me and my sis spent ages looking at it, hoping it'd detect the monster (It didn't, obviously.) Hope they have more luck than we did!

By the way, I don't think the picture above is supposed to be the actual monster (If it's dead, why are they still looking for it?) That taxidermist did a pretty good job, though! :o

Come on it seems that some people would not recognize a hoax if it bit them on the bum.

If I am not mistaken, the picture is supposed to depict a fish with flippers, a tail and spines on its back. Unless you slept through biology classes, you would know that fish don't have molars and fangs -- that is the domain of mammals. My guess is that the teeth in the front and the back of the mouth probably belong to a horse or something similar; the upper and lower fangs to some fanged or tusked animal (maybe a walrus); and the rest of the body to some ugly spiny fish. In addition to that the shadows also look a little off, and some parts of the outline of the corpse is suspiciously grainy, which is a classic sign of image manipulation.

Does no one remember this? It's not new and it's not real. This thing has been around for years. It's nothing more than a fake monster fish made by a crazed taxidermist.
