I myself will keep treating my own flock of birds and animals well, as many others I do hope. Start at your own self. If all does see to that, these sanctuaries would not be so necessary. At times parrots end up there who would have preferred a new owner. They really adapt at times completely to their owners, will not become normal parrots anymore. Interaction human - parrot is not like parrot - parrot and if you ahve been with a human since a kid .. you may have trouble readapting to other parrots. I've seen a few around in sanctuaries who were not really that better of there. Let’s hope for lots of donations.
