I bloody love that Bill Bryson book! His travel books were well and good, but Short History…is something else. Get it and marvel at how slugs reproduce and also become flowers! And, I want ALL the others!
A fantastic line-up. However, the “Trick or Treatment” book is just plain unfair – there’s absolutely no way you’ll be able to NOT look at the cover

Thanks for the recommendations! Good books on reading body language are hard to come by. Also, Bill Bryson’s History of Everything is magnificent, one of my all-time favourites.
Snoop is a great read, and of course anything by Bill Bryson is worth checking out!
I would definitely suggest People Watching by Desmond Morris. It’s incredibly interesting if a little bit heavy going for my usual bed time reading.
