Patients they write .. as people that are not patient do control their brainwaves already all the time .. most prefer to get the best out of a situation and will change something inside if necessary. At times that wont work as sometimes you will need some more physical rest or tend to some other structure before it will get back to normal. (well .. what is normal ..).

ADHD ... very trendy .. all those ADHD kids ... it's the parents who need to redirect some stuff as well .. if still possible .. the later in life you will start to mind control yourself the less it will feel close to yourself and then it will be more like work, way more effort and therefor will be less preferred by the person and those will have a preference for seeking assistance from others constantly, so letting them do the mind control.

Lots to say about this .

Seems like an interesting twist to traditional meditation - meditation with feedback. I've long thought that meditation would _really_ help our youngster if only I could get him to sit still long enough :-(

That aside, I'm sure millions of people would love to see their brainwaves... next Xmas how about "Derren Brown's Brainwave Kit - USB compatible". R

Wow, the things they can do nowadays. Surely this can only be a help for those who suffer with this.

I have problems with attention deficit. I've read about neuro-feedback and I'd love to try it. Apparently it's also useful for some types of epilepsy.

Having worked with autistic kids ADHD etc... the answer to the effective treatment is - yes and no. Seriously though it would be very beneficial to some and useless to others. What needs to happen is that proper care should be taken to monitor covertly those that actually do the caring. I witnessed my boss really go for it during a challenging situation and use her full size 18 to pin down a young challenging lad. Gritted teeth and everything. I reported her and suddenly my contract turned out to be temporary. Yay. Cornwall County Council is a closed shop. So more mini cameras please. And technically I had no qualifications to look after these children. I have experience but thats not quals. On Job Training will be given I knew more than 2 thirds of the staff. Shocking place and I reckon they are all the same more or less.

Sounds awesome, I'd love to try that!

Reminds me of that episode of the mentalist, there's a university of neuroscience standing on the research of altering the good/bad moral area of people's brain. Its very fictional but still very cool.
