Radiologist Kai-hung Fung makes beautiful and informative art from the CT (computed tomography) scans of his patients, digitally manipulating them to look more appealing. His image of the inside of our sinuses won the 2007 International Science and Engineering Visualization Challenge. See this and some of his more recent works in the New Scientists gallery.

Weird. Good that they added what it is. I still have trouble, slightly, to see it as the sinuses. Looks slightly like a vagina, the shape in the mids, that was mine. No clue why that hopped into my mind, and not something else, Apparently that’s the only shape I match with this one right now.
It’s not equal on both sides .. I wonder what mine look like .. not good I guess. Brown’s nose tampon would light up quite bright I guess on this one .. (not serious ofcourse)
This type of art is kinda nice as it is not immediately clear, to me, what it exactly is. It triggers the mind, well, mine that is.
Well I saw it as satan doing an impression of Spock raising his eyebrow at a Star Trek convention.
Doesn’t everyone else see a little dragon then? It’s snout and eyes are at the bottom looking straight at us with it’s front paws either side and wings spread out on top.
Slightly less freudian than a vagina I guess
