Highly recommended
I really enjoyed this but I can’t help thinking that their general layout design has a lot to be desired. I know that my perceptions and expectations have be heavily influenced by all the space and scfi films and stuff that I’ve watched over the years but surely there are to many ducts and cables all over place? The technological cutting edge of space exploration 2010 is less like Star Trek or Sunshine but strangely (too my silly mind) more Brazil! Did you notice the clothes dryer flexi duct running the entire length of the ship…have they not heard of condensers?
@Anthony: Yeah, they should really get an interior designer up there. The feng shui must be painful.
Anthony – You’re kidding, right? You can’t even spell correctly and you think you can design a space station better than hundreds of engineers?
In general, this video is terrible. By allowing the exterior shot to bleed through to the interior shot, it makes it hard to see what you’re looking at. And the cheesy music doesn’t help.
Must say I got a bit nauseous cos of all the flipping
Pretty amazing stuff though!

Death Star is cooler.
body language at ~4:00 was good for a laugh
fun post, thanks for it!
somewhat related, anyone check out the recent Moon movie? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1182345
decent concept.
@ josh S c-o-r-r-e-c-t-l-e-e, dam, Your right I can’t spell! And well spotted, its quite clear that I obviously think that I can design space stations better that the entire population of engineers on earth or any other race of beings anywhere in the known universe. You are a bit of a mind reader young man, quite possibly the next Derren Brown, and word speller extraordinaire (I put this big one through the spell checker). If you look deeper you may even find the answer to your first question…
