Patrick said “shite” and it was on the Channel 4 programme Faking It when asked to comment on the fake magician’s performance a few days before he was due to be put to the test.

Patrick came in as the guru and worked wonders.

Patrick was very proud of his performance. This was the only Faking It programme where the fake managed to fool ALL THREE OF THE JUDGES.

One of the judges was Paul Daniels. No mean feat and Patrick achieved this in just a few days.

That fake magician is now working in Scotland as a real magician. It changed his life. I know that Patrick went to see him perform at the Edinburgh festival in 2008.

I alway remember Pat assessing a performance by an amateur once, and he turned round and said “In Scotland we have a word that… SHIT!”. God bless the humour and wit, he will be sorely missed.

He was with me for my T.V shows right to the end ,My advisor, my teacher, & my very good friend
Cabaret, parlour,close up or stage , He could do everything there was only one Patrick Page ….

some people perform Magic, some people are Magic, very few people have both of these qualities
Patrick Page was one of those few ….

Patrick was my mums cousin and a lovely, quick witted man. We last saw Pat at a family wedding last September where he was on top form regaling us with his famous ‘Stories’! Thank you all for your lovely comments, I have passed them on to his children Jeanette and Jeremy, R.I.P. uncle Pat xxx

At The Linking Ring, the official publication of the I.B.M, we would like to pay tribute to Mr.Page in the Broken Wand in the March issue. If anyone has a newspaper obituary of Mr. Page, I would appreciate having it to help write his obituary. We have lost another magic legend, along with John Booth, Martin Nash, Carl Ballantine, Ali Bongo, James Cellini, and others, over the past ten months. Let’s all try to tell other legends how much we appreciate them, while they are alive. We all regret making that call or sending that note to Mr. Page. Let’s not let that happen; say Thank You to a magician today.
