So the story of champagne getting faster to you is not true then? I myself dont drink so have not really much experience. Otherwise we would want to put this to a test ofcourse. Now I don't.

Eating properly seems to help too, or drinking less (ehehe .. although you still can suffer from a hangover then).

Might be a bit dangerous - If you don't get a hangover, then you feel like you can drink more, and if you start drinking more, you develop health problems. Personally, I've never liked alcohol.

As someone who currently lives in S Korea, I am not suprised at all that they developed the first hangover-free beer. Now all they have left to do is develop a GOOD Korean beer. ;)

The hangover research sounds compelling, but one of those drinks was the equivalent of 3 - 4 pints of the usual beers.
And it's taking 5- 6 hours to "sober up" according to their data. That's an approximate science among drinkers (based on size, gender, experience and factors such as food eaten and speed of drinking), but who would stop drinking at just one of these?

Not to mention that "sober" is so subjective that even the drink drive limit indicates drivers are sober enough at 0.08% blood alcohol level. That drink would put you around twice the drink drive limit immediately and so you'd have to wait around 2 - 3 hours to get below the drink drive limit by their reckoning.

Nice of them to try though.
