TEDtalks is turning into a great video resource (none longer than 20 minutes) for introducing the latest scientific research - browse the themed list 'How the Mind Works' http://www.ted.com/themes/how_the_mind_works.html

Wow, great experience listening to this ted-talk about Happiness (says my 'now' memory)...as it is a little difficult to grasp i do hope that these studies will gradualy become more and more accesible and stick with the main public and policy makers...it's really usefull to understand the difference between our experience and memory.

That's not new, nor a new insight. I think we're all great thinkers, that's probably why quite a lot love TED as they recognize so much in there of theirselves. I'd say, nothing new, therefor not that interesting.

Most of us have checked that already many many times. They know all about it what's there to know about, to use it to their own benefit. Although this happiness factor is just a small portion .. it goes for so many things.

Nonetheless, pretty interesting when you check, experience, observe, this by yourself in yourself. True research inside. Useless as it may seem ..

Experiencing something & then remembering that experience ... everybody knows what the difference is in theirself when doing that. Oh well, I use knowledge towards my own being in that area all the time.
