 Precisely. Also known as &#039;cutaneous horns&#039;. I do some work in archiving and conservation for a pathology and anatomy museum and we have a big curly one in a jar sitting across from my desk. Was looking at it today.  Also I once scanned a photograph of a Victorian black guy with one the size of a fucking toucan&#039;s beak growing from the side of his head. Poor fellow.</description>
