Firstly, a thank you, for the amazing experience that was Saturday's show in Birmingham.

Secondly, I would like to point out that while your Brummie accent is tres amusing, and fairly accurate - we don't all talk like that! ;)

Finally, I would like to apologise for the 'reserved ending'.
Totally undeserved, myself and companions were speechless and enthralled (and cheering, clapping and jumping up-and-down like lunatics) but seemed to be among a minority in the dress circle - many others were getting up and leaving before your finale, and looking at us thrilling in our seats as if we were crazy.

Next time I shall make a concerted effort to get a seat in the stalls, as near to the stage as possible - if only so that you can see/hear how appreciative we are :)

Saw you on the Saturday night - great show, was smiling all the way through. First time we've seen you live.

We were a couple of rows in front of Karina in the comments above and I'd agree it was difficult to hear you clearly in the centre of the stalls. I did mention this to the staff in the interval and you were much clearer in the second half.

Can't wait to see the next tour!

The song Hallelujah is fantastic, if done right. And Wainwright does a good job of it.

There can be only one version of Hallelujah that gives me the Chills.

She is young bleached blond but her voice is different.

I hope Abeo doesn't censur away the link or whatever. Enjoy.

Well over half of this entry was about something foreign to me - Wainwright. Since I don't like the feeling of "everyone-else-knows-whats-going-on-but-me I had to check what "Want One" was. Just so I could say "Yes, heard that one. Blääää!" Found it on Spotify.

So this morning I got up and began my morning ritual (which happened to be toast and coffee while I do the assignment my psychologist gave me this week. I'm not a nutcase.) The music just fell into my heart very naturally. Love "Dinner at Eight" and the next one was even better. I'm excited. It has been a while since I discovered someone new that I really like.

At times he reminds me of another singer, but then it goes away and I can't put my finger on it. It feels like I've known his voice for a long time, like an old friend.

Great show on Saturday at the Alex. There were 4 of us in our party, 2 of which are illusionists and had seen the tour before, and we all had a fabulous time. I was personally surprised and impressed that you were funnier than any professional comedians I've seen.

I just wondered though...***SPOILER REMOVED***

Looking forward to your next tour...:D

Fantastic show - thanks for being so entertaining, this is the third tour of yours we've been too and we still think you are amazing (more so in fact!). We saw Saturday nights show :) Then stood like muppets in the rain for a while hoping to get the program signed but alas you where not in the box they wheeled out and put next to the door!

Thanks again

Hi Derren,

Loved the show in Birmingham. Glad you liked the city. Makes it nicer that you get something from the time there too . I dragged a sceptic along with me and he is totally baffled and in awe of you now. I love proving people wrong about you! I haven't failed once.

Gave Rufus Wainwright a listen (Barcelona, Foolish Love, In My Arms - hope I got the right guy!). I love finding new music. Thanks for the tip.

Enjoy the rest of the tour. I have several friends trying to get tickets now (I have kept the secret though, just told them how incredible it was and that I couldn't recommend a show more). Hope to meet you one day. Let us know if you ever do a signing in the midlands.

Great show in Bradford by the way, despite the crappy venue.

Rufus Wainwright is magnificent. It\'s almost too easy to fall in love with his music.
