These two Doctors should do something useful with their great minds. We know that giraffes don’t swim through observation. This is just another useless fact that is consuming the limited brain space I have left.

Why don’t they get of their asses and do some time traveling like Dr Who!

I’m sure their equations and models included the density and viscosity of water. It would be a trivial exercise to examine other fluids.

Reminds me of this orangutan that a theme park had on a little island. It must have gotten tired of hearing the tour guide say “Our orangutan can swim, but prefers not to.”. Indeed, one day it swam across the moat and hopped the perimeter fence. It has never been seen since.

Yes but the more fundamental yet unaddressed question is can they swim in a more viscous fluid? Imagine giraffes immersed in digital chocolate syrup, or honey.

Why would they need to swim? Their heads are over 20 feet from their toes so they can just walk through water!
