Liu Bolin is an artist known in his native China as “the invisible man” for his series of photographs where he paints himself to blend into the background. These are real photographs, not digital manipulations!

(He’s just in front of the closest tyre!)
See more at Woody’s Place (Thanks Katherine)

Interesting that you mention his location under the picture, he isn’t THAT well hidden!:)
Msg from Abeo: Some of the comment’s on their blog page showed some people had trouble spotting him in this pic
Sarah Watson at the University of Central Lancashire did this with a car in May 2009:

Wow, that’s Inredible!
wow! talk about creative. Mommy I want a invisible Japanese guy. Honey you already have one. Look between the kitchen sink and the window
That is very good, reminds me of the body artist Craig Tracy, he paints stuff on the floor and has a body blended into the image, which most of the time are very hard to see.

Amazing!!!! im so impressed right now…
Ooh what fun. He look’s like a ghost. Maybe he would blend in more if he painted his naked body. It’s just a thought! Ok, ok the thought did make me chuckle, a lot.
