Whatever happened to using a cigarette lighter and a pen? Scaramanga wouldn’t have been able to cope with that! He’d have spend three years rebuilding it once he got it through customs as a ‘modern art’ piece, and his target would be long gone. Practicality seems to be the issue…
Well MGM is stopping all James Bond productions so that franchis is up for the buy.
I guess this will give you inspiration for the next installment: The man with the Brass, Iron, Copper, 3D puzzle Gun.
These days you need to have the word 3D in the title somewhere that’s where MGM went wrong.
Will make an awesome toy for terrorists too, however their training is prolonged from 6 months to 6 years before they figure this one out.
It doesn’t really convert, it seems more like a puzzle that contains gun parts. He’s lucky he’s white, otherwise he’d probably be in a secret prison by now.
I remember watching ‘The Man with the Golden Gun’ and playing for days after with toilet rolls, pens and old springs but while being an impressive piece of engineering you have to wonder someone would you go to such lengths to design and build something so intricate yet intrinsically useless. The most often quoted reason for keeping a firearm in the US is personal protection but if a criminal broke into his home, and it was stored as the solid cuboid, he’d be screwed; Philippe Starck would not be impressed! That being said part of me is still quietly whispering “Ooooooh, you could buy one and be just like James Bond!”
kill yourself after you have solved it..What a puzzle i guess it is suggesting that the key of life, life been a puzzle ultimately will lead to the cause of death. And how we spend our life trying to find a meaning to the puzzle when the only meaning is death.

Err.. more like a metal puzzle sculpture with a gun inside. Scaramanga did it so much better…(and a heck of a lot quicker, more importantly for him)
Well the man with the golden gun wouldn’t want this gun… takes TOO long….as for the 3rd nipple he had… well this man has a blue fingernail…
Amazing engineering though.
@thebritscott
now i know why i luv puzzles!
2:44 Theres a sonic screwdriver!
Would customs notice if we shipped one over to the UK in puzzle form.. Hmmm….
Not very usefull for robberys though..
“Quick someones breaking in, Go get your gun!” -an hour later- “I’m ready!” “Hes gone now!!” ._.
Hmmm, nice engineering, but it’s more of a ‘gun hidden in a puzzle’ than a puzzle that turns into a gun

It seems a shame that this man’s talent and inventiveness is being used to make a gun
that backdrop could do with an iron…
