Don't believe the hype. Neuromarketing is NOT about making you buy something you don't want. It's a non-verbal methodology that finds out what you are and are not paying attention to, whether you like it or not and how strong these emotions are. It's just like asking what someone thinks but we get the answers before the vain brain twists the answers to suit the ego. Oh, and it works!

Oh, and no, I'm not gonna get a personal loan or credit card in order to expand my budget and get those things. The only thing I'd get a loan for would be a house. Everything else can be saved for and/or bought in "used" condition on the free market (and can still last forever). I seem to remember that I'd get a loan for three things, but I seem to no longer remember the other two (I got a '97 Mercedes for 500 pounds - not a typo, there really are only two zeros there - so if this was on the list, that's why it's not there anymore).

I seem to be the gullible type. I want to buy everything I see (especially if it has this "neuro cue" called a "sale 50%" tag or similar). But when after I decide that I want it, I put it against my budget. If it doesn't fit the budget, I don't buy it, even if I want it. I want an iPhone, iPad, B737 cockpit, Star Trek USS Enterprise bridge, you name it. But none of these fit in the budget, and the things I have seem to serve me just fine.

I went into Billabong and bought a hoody. I went up to pay for it and the girl behind the counter was wearing that same hoody.......hmmmmm. Did I buy that one because I caught a glimpse of it as I entered the shop and said "hi" or is it just a coincidence.....? (Couldn't see it that well, it was under her coat) Didn't know she was wearing it...well maybe I did but just didn't know it, Lol!

Google is a form of Neuro Marketing as we can tap the emotions..

Because we can see the keywords they use or even just dream up those emotional words and use them beside some problem orientated words..

Like "I wanna get big and bulky right now"

Here's my website targeting those exact people: Get Big & Bulky Right Now..

Then when they land sucker punch them with some groovy and effective copywriting or insanely low priced product..

Sucker punch may be too harsh though but according to some people marketing is evil so I'll stick with sucker punching!!
