We should definitely teach this stuff in schools -what we lose in scientific understanding we’ll gain in top quality comedians and satirists.

I work in a C of E school and they desperately try and push the creationist view as an “equally valid” alternative to the actual facts. When you are interviewed you are asked outright if you can uphold the school’s “Christian ethos” in your science lessons, the message is quite clear.
